The old fishing village of Crovie, on the north coast of Aberdeen-shire. It's beside Pennan, the village famous for the film "local Hero".



I'm heading up that way again tomorrow, going further west, with car mates - should be fun !

It was indeed a great weekend! I only managed one of the two races though as I have a continuing issue with 3rd gear. Quali was half ok and half not. Race 1 was good and race 2 no sign of third gear at all! Quali 5th and finished 7th in race 1.

Sorry no picture but spotted a lovely dark red Emira in Lytham, Lancs yesterday morning… the only Lotus we saw after venturing over the border from Yorkshire for a few days.

I saw a lovely red/tan one at the sound cafe on the IOM yesturday, didn’t get a pic but first one Iv seen up close, it looked great!

Sadly I cancelled. I had converted my V6 order to an i4, but decided that I never actually drove anywhere to use a sports car. Even for the 8 or so race weekends a year I now use a motorhome.
