Shadow Grey is a good colour imo if a touch drab on the Emira.
Strange it is widely regarded as the worst resale colour on the Emira whereas on e.g. Porsche greys similar to this are relatively popular.
I think that’s an interesting point. Different types of buyers historically? I know it is a cliche but there is a fair amount of talk of deviated stitching and all the must have extras for resale on the Porsche forums - I don’t remember so much on the Lotus. Porsche is the accountants sports car - an Excel decision rather than a “fStrange it is widely regarded as the worst resale colour on the Emira whereas on e.g. Porsche greys similar to this are relatively popular.

I’ve owned both - yellow elise; dark blue Porsche. I wouldn’t want a yellow Porsche, so am also part of the cliche !

Spoke to Colchester earlier after doing some man maths.
They have a bunch of cars as a previous poster mentioned. He is putting together a list for me of V6’s they have.
I got a list of preg from them £75-77K range but the links the the Lotus website & the VIN are not working properly at all...the other list of already registered still waiting on that one! on friday there were 89 for sale on auto trader...yesterday 91...today its gone up to 95 for sale! Supply & demand right now great time to buy if you can find right spec etc etc...think dealers are in a bit of pickle due to how many for sale! They have a bunch of cars as a previous poster mentioned. I have found Colchester hard to deal with, could not do a deal on a new Evora GT 410 Sport, so brought from another garage.
Could not do a deal on an Emira brought nearly new form another garage again, which is a pain as I want to buy local.
Failed miserably on any after sales service issues, as they are a large Hyundai garage and I feel they have just played at being a Lotus dealer. Hopefully they will improve.

They said they would call me back on Saturday, but I haven’t heard from them since. Could not do a deal on an Emira brought nearly new form another garage again, which is a pain as I want to buy local.

Loads more added to autotrader today...also register with carwow they send you some nice quotes low monthly's if you want to put a decent deposit down!
Think there is still some more downside price action also for potential buyers like me the market is saturated right now with more stock to come soon I feel.....! £4-5K makes a massive difference on monthly PCP quotes & or the overall finance deal.
Think I will wait another week or so see how much they really want to shift some stock before xmas!!

I’d be surprised if we saw any discounting this side of Xmas. It may happen in a dealer for quarter end/year end but I don’t think we will see them drop online.
I think they have found their level and will hold for a while personally.
I am not so sure, even at the current price level there don’t seem many selling. I think another price drop is coming in January.I think they have found their level and will hold for a while personally.
Evoras are rare and I think appeal to purists who see the Emira as too “mainstream”. That’s an even smaller niche than they occupied before so I’m sure the prices will come down.
However I’m the guy who started the “How long till the £20k Evora?” thread back in 2015(!) so what do I know?

My Emira is coming from Essex Lotus soon.
As said, deals are there (as they are on so many new cars generally) and so you can buy very well right now. Increasing numbers for sale I think reflects the whole market. Business confidence is down so people are worried about their jobs and pricey toys like an Emira get put on the back burner.
No idea why Evoras pricing looks so good, they are nowhere near as good as an Emira and had more than slightly odd looks too (I say this a a past owner of one).

There already is mate some are dropping £2-3K mid week if you watch closely some prices are lower Tues-Wed!!I think they have found their level and will hold for a while personally.
I found Essex lotus pretty good, really responsive on emails, service was spot on left the keys in sales so could collect even when the service part was closed Saturday PM. Think retail is still a bit high. Dealer offers for mine when I sold in May were less than £60k for 1500 miles 2022 car blue + black pack + touring, 72 reg.
I think for me this weekend is the crunch time now I have decided what I want & narrowed it down to the following:
1: Brand new from Lotus on 0% APR - Hethel Yellow - i4 AMG - been sent some great deals on this from the main dealers.
2: Pre Reg 2024 delivery miles Magma Red - i4 AMG (9.9% deal)
3: 2023 Hethel Yellow - V6 Auto (9.9% deal)
Just so torn between these choices right now its driving me nuts all are amazing but which is best for me as its a keeper not a car I would ever want to sell or trade! Manual for me is not an option way too much traffic to navigate to even get out of London I have to have an auto!
Future running costs on the V6 will be steep for sure but its hard to ignore the supercharger thrill & massive grunt the engine provides...but the i4 AMG is also very tempting & probably more driveable for me in London.
I can put a 20-25% deposit down to make the monthly's low all 3 options cost about the same overall its just so hard to decide which is best in an ideal world I would take all 3 cars LOL

Well I’m a bit biased but this is mine, I got it a couple of months ago. Which ever you chose I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.1: Brand new from Lotus on 0% APR - Hethel Yellow - i4 AMG - been sent some great deals on this from the main dealers.
