I think the 0% only relates to the cars at 80k plus now?
That’s what Colchester mentioned.
In which case the other option are much better, no?
0% direct from Lotus is same finance deal as 9.9% from a dealer 24 prereg with £17K ish worth of interest on top. That’s what Colchester mentioned.

Its more or less the same overall deal in the £77-81K ballpark just you do not pay any interest but higher RRP as brand new vs delivery miles.
There is very little in it really residuals are similar its a few £100 difference here & there......that Meridian Blue they have a few of those also (new FE2.0 colour) its stunning so much choice so hard to settle on one that Meridian Blue is just so unique its a purple-blue deep metallic pearl finish in bright sunlight!
The way the 0% deal with Lotus is structured the monthly is a fair bit lower than the 9.9% deals.

Got you, makes sense now. I think the only risk of going with the new car is if say after 18 months you need to get out of it your settlement figure will be a lot higher than if you take a 60 K car with interest as obviously when settling early on an APR loan they won’t charge you the full loan interest repayments on settling early so it’ll be much cheaper to get out of it.
Yep I think its around 50% of the loan needs to have been paid back if you need to get out of it at a future date...hence larger deposit upfront helps a lot. 9.9% deal is safer your only looking at £20-25K to get out of it in 18 months...0% deal your looking at £40k!!

Oh dear, that ‘12’ sticker looks straight off the front of a wheelie bin. Bit lazy…Jobbo said:
The limited editions all seem to be existing colours with some stickers. Even the two JPS ones aren't black but dark grey. Oh dear.
Reminds me of a Metro Principles my mate's mum had - white wheel trims and he Principles logo on each wing. Limited edition - be worth a fortune now. Castrol for a knave said:

ooh, nostalgia - did it have some sort of tennis theme?[Edit] no, I'm thinking of the Mini Advantage. Clearly special editions are a typically British thing though, so highly appropriate for the Emira.

At least VW had the decency to change the seats,
"The 2016 Beetle Denim is offered in two exterior color options—Pure White or Stonewashed Blue. Interior design features include a unique light-blue-and-silver dashpad and jeans-inspired seat pockets with small Beetle flags in red. The light blue denim-color cloth seating surfaces also feature white piping and dark blue leatherette accents."

It really is half arsed isn't it - a wing sticker and some awful side stripes. I did look at a JPS Evora 400 and I walked away because I would not pay £47k for something I would have to have wrapped and the wheels pained smoke.

I think for me this weekend is the crunch time now I have decided what I want & narrowed it down to the following:
1: Brand new from Lotus on 0% APR - Hethel Yellow - i4 AMG - been sent some great deals on this from the main dealers.
2: Pre Reg 2024 delivery miles Magma Red - i4 AMG (9.9% deal)
3: 2023 Hethel Yellow - V6 Auto (9.9% deal)
Just so torn between these choices right now its driving me nuts all are amazing but which is best for me as its a keeper not a car I would ever want to sell or trade! Manual for me is not an option way too much traffic to navigate to even get out of London I have to have an auto!
Future running costs on the V6 will be steep for sure but its hard to ignore the supercharger thrill & massive grunt the engine provides...but the i4 AMG is also very tempting & probably more driveable for me in London.
I can put a 20-25% deposit down to make the monthly's low all 3 options cost about the same overall its just so hard to decide which is best in an ideal world I would take all 3 cars LOL
If auto I think i'd want the i4 S, with its 400bhp, rather than the V6.1: Brand new from Lotus on 0% APR - Hethel Yellow - i4 AMG - been sent some great deals on this from the main dealers.

104 on Autotrader now.
Tricky to call the bottom of the market but it's definitely in steepish decline presently. Harry M bailed a few months ago and I'd say he knows his onions about the sports car market. The anticipated cuts in Interest Rates hasn't materialised and probably won't much next year.
That said the oversupply might well dry up as they've sensibly stopped making RHD V6's.
996 manual V6's in the UK on the register. 173 V6 autos. 202 AMG's.
1,371 Emiras in the UK in total plus the unregistered new ones at dealers/Lotus.
