Lotus dealer or Auto 100?
Auto 100 amazing experience earlier today they bought all the ex Lotus stock in the UK is why they have so many & selling 3 a day its moving fast do not hang around! Managed to do a great deal on one more details soon only just got home!Went for a 24 plate ex Lotus prereg Hethel Yellow i4 Auto collect next weekend!
Someone after me was buying the 23 plate manual V6 came a long way also!!
Saw 6 different colours there all look jaw dropping stunning! in the flesh way prettier than online pictures or videos!!
So after having an amazing experience visiting Auto100 UK earlier here are my thoughts on the various colours after seeing 6 in the flesh up close & personal. Auto 100 UK also mentioned all their Emira leave with the latest Lotus firmware updates at time of sale (auto gearbox updates for instance).
Hethel Yellow - Standout colour best overall option. Dazzling, vibrant & bright under all lights. Its not a pearl either so stone chips should be easy to fix.
Verdant Green - Very dark unless in bright light it looks almost black. But under bright light you can clearly see the pearl speckles.
Magma Red - Very dull unless in bright light it looks a bit drab surprisingly not very vibrant at all.
Nimbus Grey - Unless in bright light its a very neutral colour but highlights the contours of the Emira body shape.
Seneca Blue - Vibrant strong blue colour.
Atlantic Blue - Gorgeous blue - purple pearl finish, Bit dark but under bright light looks very nice indeed. (thought it was Meridian Blue but its Atlantic!)
The Emira shape is incredible up close & personal & so much room in the cockpit thanks to the 12 way adjustable electric seats. It looks like a £1m plus hypercar its such a stunning shape! The Auto 100 hangar warehouse is packed with some very exotic high end super cars...the Emira were parked next to them & did not look out of place at all & even looked nicer than some of the exotic Ferraris & Lambos when parked side by side!!

This is the actual Emira I bought!
This is the other colours I saw some side by side:
Atlantic Blue below such a stunning colour! (NOT Meridian Blue as I originally posted!)
Magma Red does not look this vibrant in person its rather dull strangely enough!

Palm of mine bought a Cayenne from Auto 100 and didn’t have a great experience.
Direct opposite of my experience today everyone was so friendly, offering hot drinks, taking the time to chat if you wanted to...very friendly relaxed atmosphere loads of people like me there (senior citizens buying all sorts of vehicle!!). Best experience I have had to date in any dealer by far! Also they sold 5 Emira today alone clearly people like buying cars from them.

Interested to know what kind of deal you got, there doesn’t seem to be much in it if financing a 0% brand new £80k+ car and pre-reg £60k ish car at say 9% interestAlso they sold 5 Emira today alone clearly people like buying cars from them.

Can I ask what made you choose the 2.0 auto over the V6 Auto?
Sure!! I live near central London loads of traffic its a part of life to navigate to get outside to some better roads despite me only being a few miles from the countryside impossible to reach it without the heavy traffic so for me I need an auto box heavy clutch will not be much fun as South East England is so congested you spend a LOT of time in heavy traffic. Then the other factor is the i4 AMG is a newer design car wise so it has some newer updated components. V6 is already over 2 years old now design wise.
Finally i4 AMG engine gearbox combo is pretty bulletproof now it has the latest firmware update seems to have resolved the latency issue it previously had.
V6 despite having more horsepower is mated to a Toyota gearbox which I am told is not the best by a long way its something they had to take with the engine.......that along with it seems no more V6 are being made in 2025 in UK & Toyota having financial issues might make it hard to run that engine a long time spare parts wise.
Then how much more tax are they going to throw on higher emission engines!
I just find an auto box more fun to drive you can just put it into drive & enjoy the driving experience more.
If I lived outside London though then I would probably go for the V6! Its just so congested everywhere unless you go out really early but even then on the way home your going to get heavy traffic its not possible to avoid it sadly.

Nothing special just a standard 9.9% deal. 0% is main dealer only on new so that's £87K....its not worth £87K for this car as nice as it is £87K is a bit steep as it will drop 25-30% in the first year minimum but your stuck with the finance deal for way longer!
Then the 9.9% deals actually come in cheaper overall as the Emira is already £20-30K off list for nearly new (ex Lotus they are the registered previous owner). So your looking at £58-63K + £16-17K of interest minus whatever deposit you want to chuck on it. If you end the agreement early its not going to cost you anywhere near as much as the 50% minimum the new car deal cost if it ends early!!
These ex Lotus cars are all financed via a Lotus Cars approved company anyway (CA Auto Finance) they are financing both the 0% brand new & 9.9% deals on the ex Lotus Cars pre reg Emira.
There are not due to be anymore V6 made in UK for 2025 & i4 AMG engine is I think factory only orders already when the new VED comes into play in April 2025 thats another £5480 on the new price makes it a £92K plus car...not many will order at that price despite it being a fantastic sports car...its still going to depreciate 25-30% first year regardless.
Unless your a full cash price buyer best way to buy one is chuck a decent deposit down on the 9.9% deal (they are locked into that as it all goes via CA Auto Finance).
