Checked the tyre pressures today when the thaw allowed.....went out for a few hours spirited drive.
Felt better for sure the rears needed a lot of air (4PSI each) fronts 2-3 PSI each. Now they are within the spec.
Going to be selling in a few days for not a penny less than what the finance settlement amount currently is to clear that (I lose the deposit basically which was around 10% - not the end of the world just the way things go sometimes).
Not ideal & not really what I want to do but just not going to get enough use to justify keeping her any longer than the time it takes to sell.

Do you not like it at all? Felt better for sure the rears needed a lot of air (4PSI each) fronts 2-3 PSI each. Now they are within the spec.

Adding pressure should make the ride worse not better. What are the recommended Lotus pressures? I find that OEMs now frequently specify absurdly high pressures for emissions/mpg purposes, and hence require a drop (sometimes significant) for real world driving.NRG1976 said:

Sadly not enough to want to keep forever...I mean it has stunning looks, terrific ingear acceleration, good handling, not the absolute best comfort levels if it were a lot more comfortable & I did not have lower back issues I would keep for sure but I already have another performance car....its just not worth me keeping the Emira even though I am losing almost 5 figures for a months ownership not much pointing keeping it longer & losing even more is there!Just the way things go sometimes not always what you expect... But excited for the next owner they will be getting an exciting to drive well made sport car with supercar looks for way less than others are currently being offered.

Absolutely baffling! It’s been some journey.
1200 miles in just over 3 weeks is enough for me to know time to sell let someone else enjoy the car for what it is & for what it can & cannot do!Supercar looks for sports car pricing is the way prospective buyers should approach these cars.

You should put the details on here - plenty would be interested if at the finance agreement price (I would at least)!
I will if I need to via the paid for ad system here lets see how many dealers want it first! I think a lot of people want one but when it comes to parting with almost £60K many quite rightly pause to reflect do they REALLY want one that much!!av185 said:
If the ride was horrific already and you have added a further 4psi to the the rears and 2 to 3 psis to the fronts this will make it truly horrific.
Clearly something else is at play here.
If he ride was 'horrific' I'd say there was a serious issue like someone had replaced the springs with bricks. Clearly something else is at play here.
No Lotus I have -ever- driven has had an horrific ride.
