Lotus Hatfield have a V6 auto at under £60K and Lotus Kent (both main dealers) have another one at £62K - and Hamilton up in Scotland (main dealer) have an i4 at £62K - so I don't know where you've got this idea that main dealers are another £7-8K more expensive (the cheapest i4 at Auto 100 is £58.5K).
I find making a pleasant nuisance of myself works well - keep up the pressure and stay calm.
Is the V6 Hatfield car the Seneca Blue on 5,424 miles? I find making a pleasant nuisance of myself works well - keep up the pressure and stay calm.
I test drove that car back in May to compare the v6 auto to the i4.
It hasn’t shifted since. I didn’t give it a great look over as I wasn’t ready to buy at that point. I’d be interested to know why it hasn’t sold for so long.
I’m looking to swap out of my Final Edition Elise to the yellow V6 at Hendy. It’s a 22 car with 7k. HVAC has been replaced and the doors already done on warranty. I’m hoping it’s going to be problem free.
It’s very disappointing that Lotus won’t offer extended warranty on these cars. Their website suggests they do. That was only for new cars being sold under the, now discontinued, direct sales model. Under that banner you could buy a ‘new’ car, and within 30 days of purchase, extend the warranty for a further 2 years past manufacturer warranty of 3 years
The terms read as though that warranty operated the same as Porsches- no quibble, manufacturer backed.
Anyway, doesn’t exist now.

If you can't extend the manufacturer warranty it might be more financially prudent to buy a newer model. No guarantee all the faults have been fixed, or won't reappear, on a 2022 car. It’s very disappointing that Lotus won’t offer extended warranty on these cars. Their website suggests they do. I looked at it too - when they wanted £64K for it. Now - along with 3 other of that exact colour and V6 auto box - are on AT at under £60K. I'm thinking if you're the kind of person who's happy with the auto box then the i4 maybe the way you're going to go (it was the way I went).I test drove that car back in May to compare the v6 auto to the i4.

There's two other seneca blue v6 auto's at £65k.
The only i4 is that one with the darker blue and the red seats which Auto 100 now have on at £58.5K. Not a good colour combination if you ask me - they may need to drop that even lower to find a buyer.

Will update tomo once the Elise has gone and this is collected. Funny, for preference I’d have preferred the black pack but buying used always a compromise. Been offered a Miltek for it already. Don’t know if it particularly needs it. I thought it sounded good as standard.
You could always get the wheels sprayed black and the roof black wrapped if you so wish. Personally I like the it with all yellow - but maybe black wheels might work better. But leave the roof yellow. Heck everybody has their own personal preferences. I think those would be mine.highway said:

I'd save your money on the exhaust until you've driven is a few miles - I agree the V^s sound pretty excellent in standard trim. Particularly when you stick it on 'sport' or 'track'. Gassing Station | Emira | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
