Do it, you only live once after all! I'm the owner of the blue one posted a bit back and am still besotted with it. If it helps, my good friend who is also on my insurance is about the same height and of considerable build and has no problems with it once he got used to the pedal box and his big feet!Those pictures of the blue one are stunning.
They do seem to have found some stability at the high 50s mark, I'd expect that to hold for a few months as the weather improves and then decline to mid-50s by the end of the year for a decent example. Then we get see the impact of the first cars coming out of warranty.
I'm still struggling to see many people putting down 100k+ for a first edition specced new one though, without some big incentives.
I spoke to a couple of Lotus dealers over the weekend about available stock of first editions during the conversation I asked about new orders at the new prices, both said they hadn’t received any…..still early days though. My reasoning was i was hoping for a steady stream of orders to see if quality had improved and future available stock.

Prices do indeed seem to have stabilised. The cheapest red auto box Emira right now is £62K. The next cheapest is £67.5K. I bought my red auto for £62 back in November. Auto 100 emailed me yesterday morning.....
They found the 2nd key LOL only 4 months after I bought the thing!! When it arrives safely in the post ...
I will send on to the lovely dealership who bought mine (they also sold it within a month for a tidy profit! Good luck to them!).

Nope the email said they have now received the missing key (Presumably from Lotus!) I will ask them though get back to you if they bother replying.......mine turned up like they said it would 1st thing today recorded delivery with the reg no on it...maybe someone found a batch of them though it would be a nice touch to do the decent thing!I will send this now to the dealer who bought mine ....not much use to me without the car anymore!!!
