Adding to the delays will likely be the continued Houthi attacks in the Red Sea. The car carriers are sailing via Africa round the Cape of Good Hope now which adds two weeks to the voyage. There is a shortage of available car carrier vessels as well which is leading to further delays on top of the longer sailing times.

Had an update that car arrives at dealer on the 17th of December. If that timeline sticks, I’m not hoping to see the car till the new year at this point.
That's the exact same date as I was given, I also contacted Lotus directly and unfortunately anything ordered via a broker has to be tracked by them which is a little inconvenient as I will need to email CVL every month to check status.Existing owners (especially those that have had an eletre over the summer) can you please share your experience of range?
I have one on order but seriously reconsidering. I love the car but I’m being put off by horror stories. Seems to be a lot of complaints about things like adaptive headlights and autonomous driving not working properly, which would really annoy me as I use those features a lot.
Most of the posts on lotus forums are from winter/spring time, so I’m curious to see what range was like in summer and also if software updates have resolved some of the tech issues.

How are people getting some detail in terms of updates etc?
I’m being advised by the Dealer that there is no update until the car lands at the port, which is when they will get notified and update me?
Then once it gets to the port, usually 4-6 weeks?
Does this sound right with others experiences?

seems I'm not the only one...
My current Volvo EV is on the 3 month subscription, so I need to try and time it right to give notice to terminate. I've been told 'November/December' however this is verbal only. The portal shows my car as 'in production' but no VIN or handover date.
Given my overall experience up to now, I reckon it's more likely to turn up without prior warning in Jan/Feb!

What portal is this? What info do you to see status of build? My current Volvo EV is on the 3 month subscription, so I need to try and time it right to give notice to terminate.
