Dibble & Dicky - Don't worry, spare a thought and raise a smile at 2:15 and a glass in the evening, Russ would have said that work cones first; you know that!

I hear him telling me not to take the day off because 'little old me isn't worth it' (as a contractor I'll not get paid). Sorry Russ, but you are worth it to me smile
fking cocksocks. As expected, my team is already at its maximum for leave and the people who are off are actually away on holiday. Throw into that mix the fact our team of (on paper) eight is three staff down (secondments and maternity leave) and I have marginally less than fk all chance of the day off. So regrettably, I won't be able to make it.

Only have just catch up on the forums. Condolences to Family and Friends.

Reading through his posts on here, he always managed to keep good humour even in some of the worst times of life. I am facing my own battle at the moment, and I cannot sum the same strength of character he had.

I am under going tests on my heart at the moment, Liver/Kidney function tests all the blood tests under the sun. Have had pain in left arm, severe tiredness along with other aches and pains.

Being 37 with young kids and knowing that something could hit me anytime at the moment is a constant worry.

Oh God frown I've just spotted this and am genuinely really upset. DMN has been an absolute rock for many of us when things have only looked down. It's a total shock and he will be massively missed. In his wake he has made many of us much better people and that is a huge legacy for anyone. RIP Russell

For those turning up with noisy cars tomorrow, late confirmation of a plan from Russell's wife.

Hearse comes into the crematorium at 2.10 everyone needs to be there by 2pm in any case.

The vehicles that want to follow the hearse need to be inside the gate and wait at the bottom of the hill by 2pm latest to follow the hearse up the hill, the hearse will stop at the top and signal for a 21 exhaust salute (or however many there are).

Chances are Br d and I will be there early loitering at the bottom of the hill, so if you see two ugly blokes, one with no hair and One with dodgy hair come and join us or head straight to the top, up to you.

Likewise, sadly. If I were devoid of family duties I would be there, but this week is full of fixed commitments.

I hope this goes well this afternoon and he has a fitting send off. Definitely one of the good guys and he'll live on in all he touched and influenced.

RIP Russell.

I hope that those of you who (like me) were not at the funeral took a few moments to reflect whilst we had the 2 mins silence on the site just now.

Was vaguely trying to find words others haven't already used but can't because they're all the right words.

Russ was well and truly one of the good guys. He made PH, and I'm sure every corner of the world he touched, into a better and kinder place.

RIP.
