A member on here has a Malone - Mike Veal (not sure if it's a Skunk or f1000).
If you're set on a Malone, I'd try to contact the manufacturer and buy a kit/complete car direct - otherwise you might have a very long wait...
I came here to post the above, Im pretty sure it is a Skunk that he owns.If you're set on a Malone, I'd try to contact the manufacturer and buy a kit/complete car direct - otherwise you might have a very long wait...
Used is going to be a very small market I would imagine,
Thanks mike.
Hope you are ok and all is well, i went through petes car over and over, when he first came in with it the suspension had "locked" at about 3" of ground clearance and had bent the push rods going up to the rockers my initial thoughts were spring rates too soft as it was coil bound, but that was not the case i fitted slightly stiffer springs and got ride height to 4" but still locking due to the shocks hitting the steering and the engine we managed to move brackets etc and got clearance however it then snapped a rose joint and bent several others so we moved the whole set-up outboard and has been fine since, the rear shock mount also snapped off on peters car.9 but i think poor welding rather than an inherent problem.
Pete has just made a tie bar on the other side of the hub to stop it from rear wheel steering under acceleration.
I am looking forward to doing mine although i have a much smaller engine (650cc) so may not encounter any of the issues he had

Interested to see your post, and it's spurred me to provide an update on my progress.
In spite of being semi-retired my car doesn't seem to get very high up the priority on to-do lists though I still enjoy working on it.I have just about finished all the electrics now with switches installed etc. Next comes the instrumentation that is digital so suspect i may struggle a bit.
Meanwhile my lower wishbones are at AB performance, reason being that my right hand suspension pushrod bracket was incorrectly attached. Andy at AB said better to make a new set of wishbones that will be slightly beefed up.
Once I have the wishbones fitted and my roll bar returned (long story) then I hope to do a few track days next year before returning to the UK for MVSA in the Autumn.
Cheers
Philip
