Are tests still taking place?
If so, were there any special processes/restrictions?

Application is talking about deep cleaning the vehicle or vehicle quarantine for 72 hours etc. then staying inside the car during the test.

A friend of mine phoned up last week to book his and was offered the following Monday at Southampton.

He I thought said you are not allowed to touch the car so no tinkering during the test but that may have been nit allowed to leave the car? He’s not done his yet though as he’s asked for it next month.

That is really double good news as we had been told they had stopped doing kitcars at Southampton.
Will wait to see if anyone has had an IVA in recent days/weeks.

A few folk on WSCC have had tests recently. Common sense seems to be prevailing, thankfully. Not quite like the good old days it seems, but not quite as draconian as the documents might suggest either.

Sensible option seems to be to swab down the car, put disposable covers on, wear a mask & gloves and do as instructed!

I applied for an IVA inspection a couple of weeks ago, got a date of 14th December at Derby, so 2 months from date of application to test date (assuming it actually happens on that day of course....).
