......so, who's going? It's the 17th and 18th at Westpoint if anyones interested.

I will be at some point. My Sylva isn't really in 'touring spec' just yet and the Quantum is also off the road, so I expect I'll be turning up in my dads (kit built!) TVR, which is a bit of a shame with the 'giant canary' being sat in the garage.

I'm seriously aiming to be there - after the Aeon got finished just after all the other shows.

However, it does need to be not raining though...

Where are you coming from? The new A30 is much quicker from Honiton - just watch out for the local constabulary on the bridges! To be fair, the A3052 is rather more fun smile

PS You have a heater?! ...........luxury! Presume there isn't a hood on your Aeon based on the ones I've seen though, so I suppose it's still pretty hardcore in Novemeber!

I'm going to be driving down on the Friday night from the frozen north to see all the manufacturers in the same place. Is it generally a decent show?

Yep!

Not the biggest, but one of the best.

Here's a few pics from last year:

I think the Sportster's a great looking car - has a bit more about it than the sevenesques (sic?). Ultima's out of my range but the local Xtreme is a strong contender on my shortlist.

I'll be there with the South West Tiger Owners Club on the Sunday (provided my Tiger passes the MOT on Saturday wink)

Getting ahead of myself here, but in theory, would anyone with a high resolution camera be willing to donate some pics of this years show for a write up?

Write up?

I have a press pass for the event.

My first ever "Kit car show" was at Donnington, this year. Apart from free entrance for kit car owners/drivers, (at last something that's really free!) I was a little disappointed. I wanted to customise and add to my car, but the stalls were limited in their appeal and range. I did manage to pick up a few odds "n" sods, but things like seats and wheels seemed few and far between.
As I said, it was my first show, most definitely not my last.
You find me concerned though, was I expecting too much?
Hope the Exeter show delivers for you all, if it does, it could be on my list for next year.

Wish I did smile

I'm trying to get into journalism and I've contacted a few people to see if they'd be interested if I compiled a show report (for free obviously, I'm trying to get some experience and if anyone likes what I come up with they're more than welcome to publish it)

Is there any discount for advance ticket ordering?

I've had a look through the show guide and the Westpoint web site and found nothing mentioning this, so I'm guessing not.
