Hi all,

Can anyone confirm what coverage is available for the entire LeMans 24hr race this year in the U.K.

I’m not a sky subscriber, and was therefore pleased that Quest covered the first few hours and last few hours. I found a few feeds of varying quality during the rest of the time on YouTube, but would prefer to watch the whole race this year.

Are Eurosport covering the whole race from start to finish this year, and maybe qualifying too!

Is there any non-subscription way to watch the whole race, even for a one off charge, this year, that anyone knows of???

Eurosport will definitely be covering every minute of qualifying and the race on their "Player". In previous years they have also shown the entire race on their main channels.

You can also subscribe to the WEC app or website and watch on your phone/tablet/computer/smartTV/etc.

Eurosport Player is really good and costs about £4 a month. You can choose to sign up for just a month if required. Well worth it.

Can I have that without a Sky subscription??

That's what you asked for in your original post, so that's why two of us suggested it.

To be honest the WEC Super Season App at £35 is how i'm doing it.

All the races, all the news, will be able to use at the track both this year and next and last year it was fantastic. Obviously it also means that i can watch it on my phone, tablet or cast to the big screen.

For those on a serious budget i have yet to find a significant international race that someone isn't live streaming in English on Youtube, although I would never condone the use of such a thing.

Eurosport Player offer a 7 day free trial, or if you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber I think it’s increasdd to a 30 day trial.

Le Mans has always had crap Uk public coverage. In 87-88 there was bigger all except a small column in the papers, and tbh it went downhill from there as far as BBC/ITV are concerned.
Snooker has better coverage.

Or Eurosport with the sound off and Radio Le Mans on, Eurosport with the sound on would be unbearable unless they're bringing an entirely new team
