I am, but it's not just about the recent expansion of the F1 calendar.

For example, Michael Schumacher has 7 world titles and 91 wins.
Schumacher had a dominant technical advantage for years.

That doesn't happen in Indycar, especially since it became a one make car championship.

Schumacher and Hamilton are very much the outliers on the F1 all time wins list. If you ignore them then numbers are very similar F1 to Indycar.

Indycar
67wins AJ Foyt
52wins Mario Andretti
52wins Scott Dixon
42wins Michael Andretti
41wins Will Power
39wins Al Unser

F1
53wins Vettel
51wins Prost
41wins Senna
32wins Alonso
31wins Mansell

Is this Saturday's Gallagher Grand Prix at Indy road course not live on Sky.

Indy schedule shows race start as race start midday, which is 5pm in the UK? Sky coverage is 9pm on Sky F1?

Based upon the countdown to the next race on indycar.com I agree with you; race starts at 17:00 UK time, but I too see coverage on Sky listed at 21:00.

I wonder if the Sky schedules might change? I've also looked at the other Sky channels, as they have been known to swap from the F1 channel.

The man in charge of the PVR box at Sky is going to press the record button at 5pm and then just before 9pm the play button.

I used to watch Indycar on Justin Tv. Quite often Justin’s wife would come home and switch to the shopping channel

Oh yes, that time she was looking at frilly knickers and butt plugs.

“Alex Palou is under contract with Chip Ganassi Racing through the end of the 2023 season. He is a valued member of our team, and we will continue to support him in chasing wins, podiums, and IndyCar championships."

"But we're still suing him."

Maybe it's changed since, but Racefans has it on at 17.20 on Saturday;

That's pushing it, the schedule has the race start at 12:20, so 5:20 here, if they are on schedule and Sky delayed they could miss the start.

To add to the confusion, motorsportbroadcasting has it live on the F1 red button, and re-run at 21.00:

Sky would cover the F2 live they wouldn't cut from that in progress to go to Indy.

They've moved Indy to a different channel in the past.

True but the technical freedom is in shocks and dampers. CGR have been regarded as being the best in the business. Any wonder they've won the most titles in the 2000s

Let's hope the F2 race doesn't last longer than 20 mins then.

I suspect they will have it on Sky Sports Action or something. They could have the F1 on Main Event and Indy on F1, but having an F1 race not showing on the F1 channel would be a bit odd.
