Highlights will do, wasn't really a thriller.
Cheers donkey, yeah even the highlights were a little dull. Still, Indy 500 next!

Last night Pato O'Ward leaving the pits almost get's smashed into by Enerson taking to the pit lane at speed to let faster cars past into turn 1.

Indy 500 qualifying this weekend, can't wait! I absolutely love the 4 lap run format with the average speed determining start position rather then lap time. UK times below.

Some fast runs being put in, 10 out of 18 currently doing 232mph laps. Pato O'Ward has set a new speed trap record with 243mph going into turn 3.

Sato banzai incoming, 234.7mph first lap, 233mph 2nd, then aborts after getting within 1 inch of touching the wall on lap 3.

Veekay on 234.1mph too.

Fastest practice lap last year was Sato with a 232.789mph lap, 4 lap average pole last year was 234.046mph

Sounds like they might have to artificially slow them down a little. Indycar tends to get concerned when speeds rise above 225mph.

At Texas maybe but not at Indy. They've been way above 225 at Indy for a long time now.

A driver I admire hugely - I will never forget the sight of him in F3 at Croft - insanely fast and visibly busier in the cockpit than all the others . Back then he looked like a shy and diffident teenage tourist, in contrast to all the strutting Latins in the pit lane . Go Taku .

99-01 was peak F3, the talent in Britain at that time was incredible. Sato, Hynes, Button, Courtney, Burti, Pizzonia, Kolby….

Slower than expected averages so far, could be the temperature.

Forgot to mention how good Felix Rosenqvist's car looks in it's orange/white Marlboro style livery.

Can I just add, the Indycar commentary team really add so much genuine enthusiasm and excitement to watching some racing cars going around a track on their own. Loving it!

Some interesting stuff I picked up on the N24 coverage, apparently Ricciardo was offered a prime seat in Indycar this year but his salary expectation were laughed out of the room in munutes!

Talk about having a high opinion of yourself, he was basically retied out of the sport! I do think some of these petulant little boys need to take a look at reality at times! Why would you not want to try!

Arrow McLaren did offer this but I think he’s expecting to get a seat next season, especially if Checo defies orders to let Max through later in the season.

Indy salaries are an order of magnitude away from F1 salaries. Maybe if you go there and win the championship you’ll find someone willing to go up to eight figures, but not until you’ve actually done it.

Meanwhile, we have Ericsson, Sato, Grosjean, and others from F1, on the Indy grid this weekend.
