Soooo caught the race last night and was really good to follow the season from start to finish for the first time.

I take it both Nascar and Indy do not have yellow zones and its always straight to safety car? Is this just a rule carried over from the ovals where it makes more sense? For example Powers car was miles from harms way and could have been moved under yellows.
