This Templehof circuit shows off the new, faster car much better - plenty of overtakes, wide track, much less bumper car stuff.

Should race on this sort of circuit more often.

I'm loving the 2019 season smile Elements of BTCC with drivers and team bosses that speak their minds, close racing and stewards that settle for warnings rather than F1-style penalties, thus respecting the fact that these guys are real racers and encouraging them to race. Stuff like DS repairing a nosecone with gaffa-tape in the Rome race, it's bloody brilliant.

I *love* F1, the tech is fantastic, but it's become so clinical, expensive and politically correct; FE is the perfect antidote smile

Full disclosure for the evangelists on both sides: I own both a new-ish BMW i3 and a scabby Mondeo 3 V6 and love them (and the way they're powered) equally.

Bern race on, stupid narrow circuit, lap 1, chicane 1, track blocked. Red flag. I suspect this will not be the first.

For season 6 2019/20 there will be new rules to stop traction control on the cars. TC is banned but all except 2 teams have a workaround in their software. https://e-racing365.com/formula-e/fia-acts-to-end-...

New York race 1 about to start. Maybe Buemi can get a win from pole this time? Would be Nissan's first.

Banger racing start further back hehe

Whole wheelarches and wings on the track, no sign of a VSC or safety car yet.

Just turned it on in time for the post race waffle having seen "Formula E is live now" in my Facebook feed. They really need to raise their game where publicising these events is concerned.

I got caught out this weekend too and missed nearly all of the round just gone frown

I think the problem this weekend is that the UK rights to the New York finale appear to be exclusive to BT Sport ESPN, whereas the rest of the season has been broadcast via Eurosport, the last few races also broadcast via their Free 2 Air channel Quest & the BBC had been running the races live online or "delayed - as live" on the red button.

I'd watched the last few races live on Quest so went looking for it tonight but couldnt find it - confused i looked it up online and found it marked on the FE site as BT Sport ESPN hence why Quest only has a highlights package on Sunday night.

It turns out the BBC are still streaming both races live on the red button this weekend, but understandably they've not really been promoting it as it's all about Wimbledon finals weekend.

At least i know where / what time i'll need to watch tomorrow night i guess.

Stupid info on red button thing.
Says race 1 live at 8am tomorrow, that would be 3am In New York I believe.
Didn't know they had night races.
Then race 1 is live again at 6pm ,just before race 2 is also live........silly

I'll watch some of it ,if I wake in time after a Silverstone snooze.

I watched it on Youtube, tomorrow's race should be on the same channel. It's the same programme and commentary as BBC, but the YouTube (and iPlayer) is HD, not BBC red button blurryvision.

Just watch it all on YouTube. Far easier than faffing around with red buttons etc. All the information about when and where it's broadcasted is on all the motorsport websites and on the FE website itself.

It's also shown on Eurosport live, it's where I watched it last night.

I wonder whatsomething like that would be worth.
Presumably the battery and motors will be upgradable forever. Would the aero be of a standard to handle high speed track work?

Don't see how, when it never did any high-speed track work originally :-)
