I'm, now living in the USA, hoping I can get a stream for Sunday....

Whats the odds against a Lowndes/Wincup win?.......
It's not great value for just the one race but V8 Superview is good on the main supercars website. They show all quali and races, plus you could go back and watch all the races from this season if you like. They've even put all the E racing up on there from earlier in the year.

The homegrown Supercars fans are a tremendously polarised, salty bunch.

The Camaro and Mustang Gen 3 announcements garnered exactly the type of comments on Facebook I’ve come to expect. I’m all for supporting a team or a brand, but some of these folk are taking it to the verge of pathological hehe

It's proper funny tribalism.

As I commented above, it's worth buying at the start of the season to watch the whole lot.

It's also live on BT Sports 3 from 1am on Sunday if you have that.

You get the whole season (all the previous races are included) so hours and hours of HD racing with no adverts. Absolute bargain compared to the likes of F1.

I subscribe every year.

It's the old saying "if a car looks fast, it is!"

I don’t understand the Camaro decision - they aren’t sold in Australia anymore and as far as I know they aren’t coming back (Walkinshaw no longer convert them and GM have taken over selling the converted Silverados and will import Corvette).

Cam Waters on pole by over 4/10ths. Nick Percat did qualify 4th but has been excluded from the top 10 shootout due to a weight infringement so he's back down to 10th

I get that.
I don’t want to watch anything else from the season though, just Bathurst 1000

Edit: it’s showing at $60 for the pass on their website.

If you can use a VPN to tell them you're in AUS/NZ, you could try to sign up for a free trial to Kayo Sports.

It’s either the Virgin Australia Mustang championship, or they let the Camaro be homologated to compete. GM have a presence in Aus and are willing to get behind the Camaro, that’s great. It’s at least as legit as that time the DC5 Integra landed in the BTCC. Let’s not forget it’s a space frame/silhouette formula, you can’t get a rear wheel drive V8 Camry a la NASCAR either.

(I’m just glad the Camaro also has a GT4 programme, so it can go in a wind tunnel just like the Mustang definitely hasn’t, honest... hehe )

So do I. It's excellent coverage, funny but still insightful commentary and the racing is still good at times even if it's not up the best standards from a few years back.

Is there not even a Supercars 2020 thread on here this year?

Mega lap by Cam Waters in the T10 shoot out, well deserved pole by nearly half a second. Whincup and Van Gis were on a similar pace too before they stuffed it up at the chase.

I'm gonna watch the warm up on Superview and then switch to BT Sport on the telly for the start of the race and see how long I last!

Paid to watch it, I haven’t missed for a decade, I’m not going to now!
Pity Wincup cocked up his top ten shootout lap
But they are still well placed.
