It'll be behind closed doors if it is.

As it’s only 2 weeks after the hopeful British GP which would be held behind closed doors so I can’t see what would change in 2 weeks to allow a crowd.

Hooray finally hehe

Shame it’s not the new car but apparently something is afoot with a new BTCC game appearing at some point.

Testing is slowly starting to happen but no national events until August, at which point we’re all go pretty much until November!

I am up there all year round watching whatever is on. You need thermals on pretty much all year round smile

I (and a few friends) had bought season passes for both Croft and Knockhill at the start of the year, these of course covered the BTCC (we went to loads of events at both circuits, we love it). I have had emails from both circuits offering a full refund or keep the season passes this year and use them for the remaining events that do eventually run this year, then this years passes will also be valid for everything next year as well.

I don't know if anyone from either of these circuits looks in here, but a massive thank you (I have also emailed both circuits with a big thank you as well!) given the circumstances. Both circuits can have a virtual pint from me (or a real one if you want!).

That's really made my day. smile

Even if there are no spectator events this year, that is still a bargain as no doubt next years passes will be more.

At Knockhill, other than the BTCC, you could be literally stand 100m apart from other spectators which is a crying shame as the likes of the SMRC offer great racing as well.

Time will tell I guess...

Around 18 months away according to Alan Gow on the V8 Sleuth Podcast a few weeks ago.

If it's being made by Codemasters again it should be pretty damn good, especially as they bought out the company who make Prohect Cars a while back so they have some very accurate maps to British circuits readily available.

If it is anything to do with the Project Cars team hopefully they'll spend some time getting the vehicle dynamics right rather than copying and pasting the handling characteristics of some American barge.

If we get graphics similar to Dirt/Project Cars and the physics from Dirt then it'll be a winner of a game.

Big question for the eventual start of the season, how many drivers can we expect not to be racing due to sponsors pulling out?
