Not sure if anyone saw this. I picked it up from Twitter and I'm staggered.

Footage from the paddock is even worse.

From what I read the driver is the son of the circuit owner and he's the geezer who piles in after the race.

Why is this a police matter ?

The championship promoter or local MSA should fine and ban him .

This was the world championship final. Why police........looks pretty much like assault in the paddock to me.

Who's the next bloke that come flying into the paddock and flattens the other driver for the second time?? That's even worse. Then there's a third who I can only assume is the dad. All nuts, and a police matter as it's assault. The bumper throw was particularly badly done and he manages to hit the wrong kart, well done chap.

He won't be racing karts again for sure.

Quite heated! Trying to beat someone wearing a helmet using your fists, genius.

Apparently his dad, who’s also the circuit owner.

And the driver being attacked is aged 16 apparently. All very nasty.

Because those actions fall way outside "sporting" regulations. Thats an assault plain and simple.

Has to be a life ban and should be circuit ban as well, if the owner was involved, it will be interesting to see what happens,

Is there any video of the on track crash that started it all? Whatever happened it's not an excuse to throw a bumper at them then go at them in the paddock. I've seen a few videos of punted drivers waiting for the next lap to flick the V's or whatever at the other driver, and the Piquet/Salazar 1982 punch up. This was something else though.

This is what happens when you’ve been an overprivileged spoilt little brat all your life and things don’t quite go your way smile

Because they both assaulted a minor.

As noted, this isn't an assault in terms of something a driver might expect - an over enthusiastic overtake leading to a crash.

It was premeditated throwing of a bumper at a competitor within intent to cause harm,. And then a deliberate attack (in parc ferme?)

Now we need to see more footage and evidence of what led up to both incidents but at first glance...
