Should have been banned for life but 15 years is close enough. There is zero excuse for throwing stuff at another competitor on a live track. His defences lawyers argument that he was angry and others had "cheated" were pathetic at best.

Last October they suspended his licence and the circuit licence. Not seen anything since.

Does this mean George Russell will be getting a 15 year ban too - after all he threw his car at Bottas that could have caused a fatal crash, then belted him over the head for good measure, and then continued to abuse him all over the media

Motorsport doesn’t need people like this.

I remember the driver in question being quoted as saying “I never want to race again anyway, it’s a stoopid game, I’m taking my ball home” or something similar after he was originally banned

Only when he got his head around the consequence did he come back with a weak apology and attempt to get it overturned.

This is the behaviour of a child not a man, and his Dad seems to be similarly maldeveloped
