Ash came on song Mid season... just a tad too late.
I thought that DC. would have been more competitive though.
If NAPA can start ‘23 at the sharp end, then it should be a cracking Championship.

Rumours that the Focuses will be replaced next year so they could take a few races to get upto speed if that is the case.

thumbup & scratchchin

My Nephew remarked that Audi had been mentioned, but apparently that has been thrown out.
He also wonders what is going to replace the Infiniti’s.

Is it a new handicap system? Force Ash Sutton to drive a different car each season to make it more of a challenge?

Yes, I heard that they're trying to put a RWD package together although it may not be ready for next season. Hopefully they can hit the ground running with the Focus next year if that's the case.

I see Tom Ingram is currently plodding around Snetterton in a C1 endurance race.

I love it when big name drivers are not too proud to risk their precious reputations, and have some fun with enthusiasts thumbup

Yup. Jenson Button had fun at Goodwood recently. Not sure those in the same race felt the same wink

There were plenty of other big name drivers in that race. No offence to Jenson, who I'm a massive fan of, but that was more down to the controversial car he was driving.

There's always a wide price range on them. That's towards the top end of the more recent offerings especially once you've added the VAT on. A TCR car is much better value for money in reality IMO.

Yup. It was very much a trick special with a lot of magnesium parts. No way was he 3 seconds a lap faster on ability but the combination of the two was untouchable on the day

They've taken out all the bits that let you run it in the BTCC. I'm not sure what you can do with now.

There seems to be a Championship for most cars of one sort or another now... not necessarily limited to circuit racing.
( Might even go overseas)

Put the current-spec bits back in? Then you can run it in the BTCC.

But the Infiniti (due to the rules regarding "vehicle model for sale in the UK") can only run in the BTCC for one more year.

They've also got Matt Neal's 2011 championship winning Honda Civic Type R on there for sale. The advert says it's normally aspirated but I thought the Civics were turbo charged that year? I'm sure I remember Plato complaining about them being like rocket ships on the straights?
