Due to a change in the the class structure of the Asian series I race in, I need to demonstrate that my car meets the regulations of the 750 Mc Kit Car Championship, for any year from 1990 to 99.
I've emailed the MC and they have yried to help me, but they do not have copies of regs that far back.
Does any one have a copy of these regs or can point me to an online source?
Thanks

surely the championship you want to race in, needs to demonstrate that your car doesn't meet the regs? And in order to do that, they'd need a copy to the regs in question.

Every series I've ever raced in it's down to the entrant to have the proof that their car meets the entry requirements. I once had to track down a Ford brochure from the 80's to prove that the spoiler on my car was sold through the main dealer network.

It's not really practical for the series to have every bit of documentation for every possible car and accessory combination.

it's regs not eligibility though.

It sounds to me like the OP has a car that fits a formula but no evidence of such.
So the organisers are saying it needs to fit 1990's kit car regs.
OP says - it does
Orgs say - prove it
OP says - look at it. What bit are you not happy with.

Therefore race it, and if it's too fast , protest it. But you'd have to prove that the car does not conform to the regs, in which case you'd need the regs to hand. The series organiser should have this, or else how do you know it's illegal?

What car is it and what do you need to prove?

AW Racing, its a Sylva Phoenix, i just need to prove it meets the regulatons and spec of any Phoenix that raced in any series in the 90's, I'e probably got more than enough info, but I'm lookng to cover all bases.
Car was built for me by Jeremy Phillips in 2002,
I can race no problem but it would be up against the new R600 caterhams so getting into the 90s clalss will give me more chance.

Might also be worth contacting Mike Topp https://www.mtmotorsport.com/home/, he used to be one of the series coordinators, looks like hes moved across to karts now but may still be able to help.

No i didn't get the regs i was looking for, they accepted the info I already had. I hought they would the car has run for 20 years inteseries, it was just getting the right class.
I had raced in what was basically an inventational class but that became dominated by the caterham asia challange orgsnised with factory support and r500. Not easy to compete as a privateer.
Now it's in the 90s race car class, still fast cars, but all run as true privateer entries.
