Brands would be great, provided noise wasn't an issue. No idea how much public support there would be though, or quite what the US TV networks would think of showing a race starting at about 9am their time (East coast, 6am West coast).

Given that I'm considering going to Bristol next spring, depending on how the date falls, I'd definitely go to a UK race. 43 saloon cars with ~800bhp each, what's not to like!

No chance unfortunately - at the rate they keep building ovals in the US they can't supply their own demand and most of the sponsors are Fortune 500 companies who just don't need to be seen outside the US.

Anyway what happened to the Mallory Park 'oval' - now that would be interesting!
