S205 C63 estate
Discussion
And sailed through its B3 service and MOT at my local Mercedes dealership today although a little annoyed with the advisory for having a child seat fitted
. Grand total of £0.00. Thank you service plan.
Even received a health check video showing no issues and all the new parts I've had fitted recently. Not much use to me but if I do sell it, some reassurance to a potential buyer.

Apologies for potential thread hijacking…
Quite a few people commenting here seem to have experience of both M3/4 and C63. Which would you recommend as a daily driver, with the occasional spirited drive (not track days) thrown in? I’m looking at convertible versions of both, so they’d never be the last word in driving dynamics anyway…
I owned an M4 Competition before this and that was better dynamically with a keener front end to turn in. I've always said the AMGs are great up to 8/10ths and nearer the limit is where the M cars excel. I don't track this, and likely never will, but for the road, it's great but that's mainly down to the engine and theatre that comes with it. The error flashed up again when I was slowly loading the car so taking no chances of it failing with my family in the car. I'm fortunate to have a AMG specialist a short walk away, same one who look after everything other than the service (Merc service plan) so they fitted a new battery from Mercedes today.
Seems a few of his customers are interested in the car and asked me let him know when I want to sell it. Lots of V8 estate love out there.

I really enjoyed reading this thread from start to finish, I was anticipating (but hoping not!) you selling it for the M5, but as I continued to read up until present date I was glad you'd kept it!.. Stumbled across the thread after picking up my S204 C63 PPP recently which I'm smitten with. I toyed with the idea of a S205 but found a great well maintained S204 so went for it.
Seems like the service plan has bailed you out a few times, think mines too old for one, unfortunately.
Had my old S204 C63 PPP been for sale when I needed this, I'd have happily bought it back. They really are brilliant cars aren't they! Seems like the service plan has bailed you out a few times, think mines too old for one, unfortunately.
Next door had their Lexus SUV stolen this morning, and two doors down an attempted theft of their Mini. Strangely, no one came on our driveway. Made me think about security a little more. Keys kept in a faraday pouch but I'll start using our Disklok again.
Turns out our car does fit in the garage. I could do with some bowling alley buffers to get in and out though.

They're unsure how it was stolen. Their house was secure and they were all inside at the time. Their car keys in a faraday box.
Two doors down caught two hooded and masked blokes brazenly walking around their Mini on their gravel drive at 5am but not obvious equipment for a keyless theft.
Genuine Disklok and yes, it left a dent in my M4's steering wheel the first time I used it so always wrapped the steering wheel with a cloth to protect the steering wheel.

We had the neighbours over for lunch yesterday and talked about their car theft. Seems the Lexus RX is incredibly easily stolen simply by pulling back the front bumper to access wiring and then can be stolen in under a minute which explains how it was stolen without a break in nor did they need to boost the key's signal which was in a faraday box.
They also reckon the thieves were in their neighbour's garden to get a better view of their house rather than after their Mini.
So sounds like a targeted theft for their car.
