3.4 996 vs 3.6 996.
Discussion
Surely after a couple of years time when 997's are a plenty, the price gap between the 3.4 and 3.6 996 won't be so great? Wouldn't it be wise to wait and save a little cash? There can't be a huge amount of difference between the two to warrant the extra money? Especially if budget is a concern.
I'm currently in the market for a 3.4 with a plan of trading up to a 3.6 as and when the price gap has narrowed.
I could stretch to a 3.6, but it would be just that; a stretch. You know what they say; if you have to think about whether you can afford it or not, you probably can't.

It is a significant improvement dynamically over the Mk 1 in my opinion. Plus more user friendly.
I thought the Mk 2 was more understeery than the Mk 1, but more refined.
Some of the power output hike was absorbed by a weight increase.
Yes, didn't Evo Magazine say the MK1 was better keyed into the road or somehting?
