Is that the 997 you posted on Sunday, that no one knew where it was? (It’s not the 993 RS or 997 4.0 - IMV) ?Gander101 said:
Funny - just spotted that this car is for sale.Every seeming option ticked per the advert, as a showcase of what was possible (in good taste and err, less good ). Full retail cost £150k+
Interior is pretty full-on.

Wahey! First time I've managed to successfully upload an image to this forum in 10 years!!
Also, doubly excited as having upgraded my 996 C2 to an X50 equipped and high boosting 996 turbo (2nd time I've owned the car), this is the most surprisingly pleasant thing about it!
I had remembered my 996 turbo being much better on fuel than my subsequently owned Cayman S or 996 C2 on a long run, but felt like this might have been an over active imagination.
I know, I know it isn't the point at all, but it's actually a really nice feature. Good for the drive up to the destination track of choice.

Very very nice, makes you just want to step in and feel the rumble. How's your first Porsche experience going so far? Nice entry point! You definitely need to get it to a track to unlock the full magic on offer.
I have failed on many attempts to upload images before this

Thanks! Would you believe I started looking at £7k kit cars and things got out of hand... How's your first Porsche experience going so far? Nice entry point! You definitely need to get it to a track to unlock the full magic on offer.

I know I should do a track day worried if anything happened though. Just looking forward to getting it out in the decent weather (hopefully) next month.

Very nice! Some! What else have you got? Which is your favorite?
There all different, the 997 GT3RS will be up for sale as we come out of lock down, its a great example and has benefited from significant spend to make it one of the very best, hopefully the other two will get some miles piled on them this year.My favorite air cooled are my 993 C4S for pure usability and it always puts a smile on your face.
