I wouldn't be too confident in the police leaping into action over this. Even if they do bother and it somehow gets to court a descent lawyer will tear apart a piece of amateur non calibrated video footage.
maybe - but clear video footage of him cutting up multiple vehicles , multiple times over a (busy) 15 mile M4 stretch and nearly forcing some of them into the central res will be difficult to defend. Bib are corroborating with 2 other drivers of vehicles seen in the video footage.

I have to say, your thirst for public vengeance is very distasteful.
As is someone whose irresponsible driving behaviour threatened the lives of me and my family and other road users.

This thread is wasted here. It belongs in a dashcam forum.

If someone's driving is threatening your life - call the police and ask if they have any patrols that could come. Use 999 if necessary or 101 if it's not an immediate threat. Dash cam evidence won't be much use to you when you're dead.

I don't agree with the closing of ranks/omerta proposed by some other posters - just because we all drive Porsches does not make us a brotherhood.

However, I also don't agree with posting this on here - it does not serve a useful purpose.

Surely these are decisions we each have to make. It's posting it here that is questionable.
My thoughts too. Maybe just uploading it to YouTube and asking for our views on it would have been more appropriate.

Either way, I'm open minded until I see the video.

Good advice - next time it happens I will call the Police on 999 on my mobile from the outsifde lane of the M4 ....and I'll have possbly driven to S Wales if /when they decide to send someone out wink

But dont fret over those closing ranks on me. As a long time Porsche owner , it seems I no longer deserve any ' Love, Brotherhhood or Camraderie for snitching on an other Porsche owner's appalling driving behaviour . I would have done the same on any other driver who acted in the same way. I dont care what others' opinions are- I just wanted the guy if he's is on here to be embarrassed and outed for his disgraceful dangerous driving. Hopefully he's lurking on here or if not his mates will bring it to his attention.

I'm clearly a lost cause to the Porsche marque and there no hope for redemption if / when Mr Karma ever pays me a visit....but c'est la vie life goes on and the guy is still going to get nailed - adios amigos wink

post the footage and stop crying about it, given your using a pseudo name on the internet, the BiB will never know, just dont put the numberplate in writing in any section of the video montage

I really don't understand why this has irritated people so much. But let's see the video!

Looking at your profile suggests you're not telling the truth?
Hadn't posted in a long while , forgot p/word and no longer had access to orginal email i registered with in 2001 - PH assigned me a new profile sometime last year when i used the classifieds to sell a vehicle. My old Profile still exists.
PM one of the mods & we can probably get your old account reinstated

1) I have occasionally seen people driving terribly and wished I had a dashcam to be able to send the footage to the police. So I have sympathy with the OP.

2) Moreover, a couple of times I have seen commercial vehicles driving recklessly and nearly causing big accidents, with the information of the company emblasoned on the side! A quick phone call to the company quoting the vehicle reg and its fun to see the said vehicle suddenly slamming on the brakes and pulling in to the slow lane having had a telling off...

If the video is as described by the OP (we'll see when posted) then he has every right to act.

I wouldn't have posted on here as it's just stirring up a hornets nest.

Time will tell.

Err, nothing happened
No one was killed
No crash.
Just an upset mug out in his wife's car because he got cut up.
Sounds to me like Davis R was chasing this guy, and he was panicking to get away.
I wonder if we get in car comments on the footage.
Plod don't like vigilantes
Not one bit.

Two things stand out for me on this thread so far, and both seem to think the world revolves around them.

If any one knows the owner / driver of this 911 TT Cab , then tell him I have approx 15 miles of in car video footage of his appalling driving along the westbound M4 this afternoon at approx 1:30 pm (including a face shot in a 50 mph section) .

He was driving like a utter moron, undertaking 8 vehicles at excessive speed (on video) and nearly forcing 3 of them into the central reservation including me.

I've submitted my in car footage of his appalling driving to Thames Valley Police with a view to hopefully getting this moron prosecuted for dangerous driving and a lengthy ban ...he can expect to get a knock on his door in the next few days.

He is an embarrassment to all Porsche drivers and he needs to be put off the road for other roads user safety.
You forgot winkwinkwinkwinkwinkwinkwinkwinkwinkwinkwinkwink

Sounds like the Porsche driver was driving dangerously. Until we see video or hear any court case details we won't know for sure. Agree with telling the police and agree with posting here; found it an interesting topic. Having a porker doesn't give you a get out of jail free card for driving dangerously.

Nobody is saying having a Porsche, or any other car for that matter, gives you a get of jail free card. Just like following somebody, who is apparently the most dangerous driver on the road, for 15 miles to make sure you get it on your dash cam doesn't give you a get out of jail free card either.
