Hi all,

I have stumbled across a deal through a well connected friend in Germany. A race team couldn't take delivery of a few vehicles after going bust. The cars have been sitting there for 2 years with 0 miles and unregistered.

They are all GT3 clubsports and the price is very attractive (I do not want to disclose). If I wish to buy one for myself what kind of hassle will I be getting in to? I have asked about the warranty and paperwork but no answer yet.

Any help will be much appreciated! Not really sure what I will be getting into and how easy it would be....

this was in the press. 18 vehicles offered at 131k euro each if i recall. You still need to register the car.

If the price is right just buy it.

Worry about the paperwork later!

These are gen 1 cars and I believe I read (though not 100% confident) not covered by Porsche warranty

I don't know why I have a feeling it will be sitting in Dover for months.... I do really want it but no warranty is a deal breaker

No - only that which has been reported in the PistonHeads article I linked to.

Thought they sell them all in one go, included with 2 new trucks full of spare parts.

I'm assuming you may also be liable for VAT?

Seems expensive for a gen1 car?

What is a low mileage, late Gen1 car selling for these days?

What if it was closer to half of that price? Indeed at the moment it does seem too good to be true
