IMO Gulf looks the dogs on my 1.2 Touring
Tourings on the whole can pull off the more obscure colours imho.

All of these colours are vile, particularly the Mint Green and Sapia. But I always thought I was alone, Ive rarely seen a PTS choice that made me think "yes!, thats the colour Id choose". I was always confused as to why someone would pay for the privilege of applying an awful colour!
if we all liked the same colour the world would be a dull place.

Agreed, I'm not sure Gulf would work on a Cayenne but like all PTS choices, totally subjective... beauty is in the eye of the beholder and i dont think there can be a wrong choice getmecoat

For balance, my old 3rs in Gulf;

Highlights to me how some cars are colour sensitive.

I think the Gulf Blue looks great but seeing it on the Cayenne it just looks odd.
^ This. Olive green 996 looks horrendous.
But a similar hue on a 997 looks altogether different :

Anthracite brown metallic

Looks spectacular in my opinion but suspect others will find it a bad choice

Some may say this is unfortunate but I like it. My PTS SWB, one of the 30 PTS 911’s built in the first year of production.

far from unfortunate. looks fantastic and must be worth a fortune to have a PTS from 1st year of that offering.

I see it's listed as anthracite but I don't believe it is. Anthracite is a much darker colour, as you might expect. Looks more like copper or cognac.

Is that “Schwarzoliv”? An absolutely stunning colour, imho.
Not commenting on the wheels or the neon green decals (or that it is a Macan), but the very dark green is about my absolute favourite colour for a 911 of all times.

Such a understated, lovely colour cloud9 99% of the people would take it for black 90% of the time, but it really pops in bright sunlight. The very colour for the discerning gentleman. cool

ETA: I mean “dunkelolive metallic”. Even darker than “schwarzoliv”

Ooh, what was I spec’in the other week where it had moved onto their “heritage colour” scheme or whatever they call it now?

I wonder if it was a website mistake or maybe the ST?
Which colours are free varies depending on the model, probably due to factory configuration.

Correct, it's dark olive metallic.

Unfortunately it looks gloss black 99% of the time.

The other 1% it does look really nice.

My favourite of all the PTS colours, If I'm ever in a position to buy a new PTS car that will 100% be my choice without question
