My previous post got removed as it appeared to be a selling one (it wasn't). Anyway, I need to source a seat cushion insert for a standard Tuscan seat as I spilt dehumidifier liquid on mine and it shrunk it and is unrecoverable. Short of getting central to make a new one, does anyone know where I can find a used one or does anyone happen to have a spare one lying around?

THanks

You could call the usual suspects - the ones that advertise broken TVRs for sale.

Already tried unfortunately, no one has one or at least not one on its own

Don't be so tight, get your wallet out and ask D&C trim to make one for you smile

I’d be getting them to retrim the whole car if i wasn’t selling it ASAP! This is just to tidy up the interior a bit

In that case I wouldn't be buying it smile ... These cars NEED money and TIME spending on them , and in the case of your car it looks like it's not had much TLC ,,, IMHO smile

Oh bore off. I’ve spent thousands recommissioning it mechanically over the last year, drives beautifully, had everything thrown at it short of a full rebuild which it’s not showing signs of needing yet, new shocks, new bushes, wishbones, rebuilt rack, whole dash pod rebuild, the list (and money) is endless. Next on my list was the cosmetics, but as I need the money elsewhere, I have to sell it, so thanks for your opinion, but it’s wrong

OK, Back on topic!

OP, could you not go to a car trimmers and ask them to make you one? Seems quickest and easiest option to me.
You'd have an exact match to interior....indeed, if they cut you some foam, would it not slip into existing cover?.

Yes I think a car trimmers will be best, unfortunately the leather has gone hard and shrunk so I can't just replace the foam. Will contact my local trimmers and see what they say

Is it just the one that is ruined, ie do you still have the other one as a template?

You say you spilt 'dehumidifier fluid' on it... are we talking the vivid blue sludge from the base of a Unibond Aero 360 device?
If so, as it's primarily water (admittedly with a kilo of salt dissolved in it!), is the damage not reversible with the right preparations? We read and see pics on here of great reclaimations with products from eg Furniture Clinic, I wonder if they could advise you?

If it is just the foam bit you need I re-did mine with something from “gb foam direct” - I was going for higher density smaller height so I could fit in better...

Did similar with the dehumidifier with my passenger seat.
It only damaged a small area and so not got round to fixing it yet.
I thought D&C had closed down.

They recently did a new one for me - quick and perfect match.
