Are these still available or is the only alternative to buy just the clear lens and fit it to the original reflector casing which is a bit of a bodge from what I am tell?

Stone cracked my driver's side lens!?!***!

Thinking I'd get a replacement quite easily, I removed the complete unit. WRONG!! TVR Parts, Racetech and Powers were all nil stock.
Had a discussion with Mark at Racetech who said they still hold the lens....In any event my reflector was quite badly corroded.I posted in the Tuscan facebook group and a chap sent me some 2nd hand ones for just the postage cost. One was useable, but the other suffered from reflector rusting.

Do you still have the rusted one?

Keep and eye on 'Land Rover Military Lens' on eBay - the clear sidelight lens fits. I picked up an unused pair a couple of months ago for £20.

Wily - you've got to be very careful with the external diameter on these!
I trawled through Amazon - cross referencing "TVR Tuscan" and the Lucas part number. I bought a new/old stock from a L.R. spares seller. When I got the item, it just didn't fit. The fitting looked more like a Chimaera side or reverse light. The external dia. was out by ~ 1mm.

I refurbished the second one I received, by carefully separating the reflector from the body and then de-rusting and gave it a coat of high zinc primer and then silver paint. With the state of our roads I intend hanging onto this.

TVR ran out in the early days and fitted some cars with Chim reversing lamps.
