Had the Cerb out for a clean and polish at the weekend and put the spiders back on, ready for its trip down to X Works next week for service and MOT.

Gorgeous.

Wish I’d jumped on one of these a few years ago when they were in my price range.

Bloody eck that sounds fabulous.
That’s a stunning car.
If your the one that keeps that looking that good then you’ll need a new hobby as that looks like it’s had a lot of care.

For many years X221FGO was my desktop wallpaper, then I found an identical car.
I’m NEVER letting go of mine, that’s for sure.
Everything else will go before it does.

Some dilbert has edited my post and some of the replies because it was classed as advertising so doesn’t make much sense now.

You must have a compelling reason to part with such a beautiful example! I'm trying to think of a reason I would need two weeping

Do you still have the photo that was your desktop? I’m guessing it will be one I took???
Also would love to see a photo of yours.

Is that the original interior or has it been replaced at some point ?

It looks excellent.

Sure, here you go.
Amazing shot!

I had found it on a Google search somehow, back in about 2014/15 I think, may have even been earlier than that.

Thanks.
I took that photo back in 2010 at Wet Sleddale dam near Shap, it won the TVR car club “picture this” competition in sprint magazine.

Do you have any photo's of your Cerb? I’d be interested to see how similar to mine it is?

I can see that’s been well looked after. That interior’s held up brilliantly.

The steering wheel, drivers bolster, base of the seat and the left arm rest/centre console normally wear.

It’s the first car I’ve seen with a light dashboard too. Does it reflect light badly on to the windscreen ?

I was thinking of having certain parts of my interior, replaced in a dark colour, but having seen how it can be kept by yourself, I’ll have a rethink smile

I’ve not really done anything special to clean it, I’m not sure if the previous owner put anything on the leather to protect it but I’ve not used anything really to clean it up in the last 12 years other than the occasional wipe with a soft cloth and hot water.
The rear seats and passenger seat have hardly ever been sat in and I think it possibly helps that I’m quite skinny so haven’t damaged the drivers seat bolster getting in and out.

The dash doesn’t reflect on the windscreen, you can see the 2 black air vents reflecting if you try and focus on them put when driving and looking ahead you don’t see any reflections.

I’m a completely rubbish photographer, so whilst the car is very similar, the shots are crap. But you get the idea.
