I bought mine last year.

Had a colour combo in mind I wanted. Some things to consider.

Ensure the hub recall has been done. This is costly if not as you have to replace front brakes and wishbones to get the updated ones to fit. Something I didn't realise at the time.

Servicing needs to be done with someone who knows these cars. Consider which specialist you might take it to. For the type of car it is servicing isn't massive, but be prepared to spend around 2k ish a year on maintenance.

Most people would tell you to look out for chassis, engine and electrics. Oh and clutches are a weak point.

Chassis are particularly prone to corrosion on the outriggers. Most specialists can replace these, or even replace the whole chassis, but the cost is important to factor.

A majority of parts are available from specialist places online.

Most importantly the community is fantastic and we all tend to help eachother out, honestly there isn't another group like it.

Great cars if you find a good one. I enjoy mine and has been fantastic, I use it regularly, shopping, ferrying my daughter, trips to car shows etc. Very fast when you want it to be but very civil and easy to drive around town, as others have said traffic jams are not nice, something that might be different from your current car is that you'll be constantly looking at gauges (that are mostly not accurate) and checking all of your fluid levels becomes a regular habit if you care about your car.
