Unfortunately not, it would have been my insurance, and they only wanted to pay for a tiny repair job, but was told by 3 different shops, including their preferred place, they wouldn't be able to match, didn't want to touch fibreglass repairs... Berk in the Merc refused to accept he'd hit my car, told lies to his insurance, police didn't want to know 'it's for your insurance to sort' etc.

And it had 8? years of front end chips and I picked up more on the IOM, so I just bit the bullet and went for a complete job.
Fair enough. Personally I would have pursued the Dr but I appreciate time/effort involved for such things isn't always worth the hassle.

Different jurisdiction, police not interested, Doc sits on several of the local Govt advisory boards etc. In true PH form I'll hammer sausages into his dog and bum his lawn, or something ... biggrin

Just stumbled on this thread. Not the best but I had a quick look through to see what old ones I have kicking about.

It was a tease.

Yes very good paint job, any typically it picked up a tiny chip on the way home. I was leaving lots of room to the cars in front about 10 car lengths or more, so knobhead range rover decided to overtake and spit gravel from the middle of the road backwards.

A few little bits to do. Need to fit the kickplates as they left them off in case I wanted to get new ones, but I quite like the idea they show a little wear - unless anyone knows if they are available/cheap... I might polish up the old ones to see.

Not the weather for photos, doesn't show off the pearl, but I think when the suns out it's look great...

I've never had clean lines around the rear light lenses, I think they had a little black tape and the mastic. Now clean line painted

That looks great. Must look very nice in the sun. Roll on spring. Your car does the same as mine - 4 photos, 4 different colours. Keeps it interesting.

Go back to the painters with the chip. They should be able to fix it in half an hour or so. I had 4 or 5 installation chips on mine which my painter took care of. You can't see a mark.

Remember Paul - I'm way up north, so I doubt he'll be of any use to you. But my respray was by Sandy Wallace in Knockentiber, just outside Kilmarnock.

Great job. smile

I'll probably pick up more going back frown The cars in the garage for a month until it goes for its service and MOT to let the paint harden further...
