...............where can I get them from? I have tried a search on these forums, as I know I've asked a similar question myself, ages ago - but seem to just get links to web pages which now no longer exist.

Also, do you need specific coloured bulbs to go in the clear lenses, or are the originals orange anyway? Could anyone tell me exactly how to fit the lenses? I asked someone a while ago and they suggested the side ones were easy (they just stuck on with some form of adhesive - which one though?) but the front ones needed smashing out and replacing via the access panel on the inside of the wheel arch. Can anyone confirm this?

Help is much appreciated.

Cheers

The side ones are indeed held on with double sided foam tape. While easy to replace them, it is a pain trying to remove the old adhesive and foam, etc, so make sure you have a good fibreglass/paint friendly solvent to clean up with.

The front indicators are Sikaflexed in. They don't need to be "smashed" out, but you will need access to the rear of the valance to peel them out and replace. I found it to be a really fiddly job to place th lens just right while bonding (in fact, Fernies did mine!).

Best of luck!

For the facelift models, the rear lights and the front indicators are from a military spec landrover. You need to replace the front yellow ones with reversing ones i.e. clear. The original parts are Lucas parts and are far better quality than any of the ones you buy from 3rd parties including the ebay ones (although I bought my landrover ones off ebay for about £30). I've got the PDF somewhere with all the Lucas part numbers... I'll see if I can dig it out.

The side repeaters are from a Fiesta as I understand. Mine clip in and are not stuck on with double sided tape. I've actually got tinted ones which look the business. My mate has had similar issues with replacing his T350 ones. I think the bottom line is not to buy cheapies from Ebay.

They may well fit. However I understood that all lights are from a MOD spec'd Defender.

I've found the PDF (mail me if you want a copy or search for it on the Internet - MoD Defence Standard 62-7/Issue 2 20th May 1981 "Lights, Light Units and Reflectors for Service Vehicles" ) it contains the Lucas Part numbers for the brake, reversing, and indicators lights as used on the Cerb. You simply replace the orange front indicator for clear reversing ones. The quality of these items match those of the originals, unlike many others I've seen fitted to Cerbs.

You can source them from Landrover spares on the internet - there's lots of them about. I got mine on Ebay using genuine LandRover parts.

You dont want reversing lights,as the M.O.D dont fit reversing lights on military spec vehicles. Its the side light you want.Try the ex-military landrover association. They have plenty in stock.

In the document, they both are the same size and are described as "clear". So I'd guess either would do. The link to the Ebay item I supplied are for the side lights - which I think are more common.
