That's a left hand drive mate. Look at the links above. All legit cars with good prices.
I did miss that, but I think it’s also a new low even for a LHD in red? Haven’t been watching that closely though.

Ok cynics here you go lol I understand where you are all coming from being 458 owners. I used to have one too and will be buying another very soon but it's there to be seen - the prices are dropping for now. I sold mine back to a main dealer last summer and if I was to sell this today I would have been £35k worse off on trade in prices today.

Italia's below £135k - anyone with decent negotiating stills could knock circa £5k + off in todays climate

£110k - 19k miles - 2011 car - decent spec!
ttps://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/ferrari/458/ferrari-458-4-5-italia-auto-seq-2dr/10330169

£125k Main dealer car with 2 year warranty - 15k miles - 2010 car

£132k - 8k miles - 2011 car - mega spec in Rossa with Carbon Seats etc

£135k - 22k miles - 2012 car - mega spec in Rossa with Carbon Seats Main dealer with 2 year warranty
https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

Spiders below £145k: (again pretty easy knocking £5k + off one of these)

£137,500 - 16k miles - 2012 - decent spec
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202...

£137,995 - 21k miles - 2013 - MEGA spec - carbon seats and carbon porn fest
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

£142,000 - 15k miles - 2013 - Rossa Corsa decent spec - Main Dealer - 2 year warranty
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202...

£144k - 22k miles - 2013 - Black on Black - Carbon Porn Fest
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202...

None of these cars are undesirable colours, specs or abnormally high mileages - all very good deals IMHO

I rest my case

I’ve looked at the 2010 car as I want a red 458. They’ve offered a good price on my R8 and a reasonable discount on advertised price. Only downsides are 7 owners and the alloys (currently trying to see if they will change them or go further down so I could pick up a used set).

Nope Tom Hartley Jnr sold a 2012 red with 8k on it for an advertised £99.5k.

7 owners in 10 years is not bad for a car like this, As long as it has full S/H and you get your 24 month warranty I don't see an issue. My old car had 5 owners when I bought it and it was 4 years old. Never had a problem with it really.

I swear I saw some circa £85k LHD 458s in the EU earlier in this thread

I don't think that £125k car is that great to be honest. Standard alloys and standard seats, both not great.

The number of owners isn't in the least bit unusual when you consider the age (9 years) and type of car.

Interesting as I also have an R8 to trade in. I wouldn’t have considered it before as I love the R8, but if the gap closes between the two I might take the opportunity to have a 458 for a bit.

What I suspect is a lot of dealers will be reducing the offer on the R8 whilst holding relatively firm on the Ferrari. Haven’t tried negotiating anywhere yet though. Did you discuss the switch with many dealers lately?

Yes have spoken to a number during lockdown. A couple have tried low on the R8 and not budging on the 458 but others have been very reasonable on the R8 and offered discount on the 458, over 10% on the 2010 car.
Unfortunately the two cars I’ve liked the most have been low on the R8 and not moving on the 458.

Shame the red 2010 is such a low spec, if you bought the necessary options on eBay, carbon interior, race seats, decent wheels etc. it would be an expensive car!!

I am trying to buy a 458 with no PX and the dealers are all very very firm so far.

I have tried two indi's and two ferrari main dealers for varying cars.

The indi's are not interested one bit especially as their finance is expensive and i can get it cheaper.

Ferrari just say 458 last nasp Ferrari etc etc.

The one i want is a nice spec but is all its money i can see.

I have played the old "buying a car this week card" and they dont even call to chase. All i can think to do is wait a few months there are more coming on the market daily at the moment and not one i was interested in has sold for the last 5 weeks. Once these dealers are back to work the reality of sales will kick in i suppose. I know its very expectant of me for a price move but realistically we all know its coming there will not be plenty of buyers out there... will there? seems to be a few in this thread alone

ref 2010 car. Wheels put me off but you can buy others, then when you see a car with Carbon driver zone and put age against it... I am not sure its great value either.

Yes, a lot of dealers don’t seem to be budging on prices, however I do expect that to change in 4-6 weeks as we go well into the summer and reality unfortunately kicks in.

That what I’ve seen too hence looking at the 2010 car if I could get it for the right price.

I’m actively looking for a car too and am surprised you say that as dealers knock off £5k easy without trying too hard.

I find it easier to negotiate when taking finance. Get a quote and give them around £300-400 a month less to what you want to pay monthly...they will quickly drop the price and APR to a rate that works for you smile

Did the sums on one of the cars the other day and it worked out to £8500 off their advertised price!

It does look like it did, seems strong given there is a newer black 458 at a dealer for the same.
