Reversing out was an act of faith, although the noise of the sports exhaust in a confined space probably scared most other people away!

Apart from your amazing abilities and faith in fellow parkers for getting it in and leaving it there, what really surprises me is how small it looks comared to the modern stuff nearby.

Supercars are alwways huge, long, wide, and yet the seem to shrink as time goes bu.
I've just checked, according to wiki - its 42.1 inches high...an s1 elise is 47!

That's a rather low car, no wonder why it looks so tiny!

The testarossa is a high top at 44.5, but it's the width of the car that makes the picture a winner.

Keith Moon & his mashed Dino is far from an incongruous image. Glorious pic, though smile

Ironically i thought it epitomised incongruous. Very out of place, but very not in a cool way. As you say, glorious pic

Forgive the wobbly photo, it was taken years ago before camera phones worked.

Balfour road?

This island is depressingly small.

Love the pictures of supercars doing everyday runabouts! When I get something more exotic, that's exactly how I will use it.

Very close- Thorald road to be exact. I thought someone might recognise the Exchange in the background.

I'm either stalking you, or I park around the corner there too as it's less busy and less chance of someone slamming their door in to your car.

Yep! I always head for that bit no matter what car I'm in.

Will keep an eye out for the MX5 in future. Still think you did well to spot where it was from that picture. I would have thought lots of Tesco buildings look the same.

Unless you were actually there when the car was?
