Ive heard some sh*ite but never thought I’d hear the Performante been described as ‘an ordinary car’....

Great choice with colour, enjoy the 675.

As much as I love the RS and as much as they were very good to me, I would trade 2 for a 675lt. Huracan performante is bloody fun, but for a quick drive on a sunday but plenty of small things spoil the whole thing.
From spec, dls you might get used to it, but it's ste, without it is much more communicative.
Seats are bloody horrid, either way you spec it. If I had one I would either get the buckets, strip them down and just re-bolster it to my body/sleep on the bloody car for a week to get the cushions to mold and soften up, or just get an aftermarket bucket (recaro pole position comes to mind).
Suspension, either option is good and horrid. Car is tremendous fun in track mode, with the dynamic suspension it will be rock hard (bearable in strada), the non adjustable suspension is just always hard, probably, I would just either go with dynamic or fit a proper ohlins kit for compliance.

In sum, 675 LT is just bloody perfect at everything out of the box, just make sure it has the big buckets or if you can find a deal on one with sofas, retrofit the brilliant seats from the senna (touring ones).
To prevent issues, change the coolant pipe braces, remove the pans to check for leaks, DO TAKE the o2 sensors out to check for oil leaks from the turbo. Left one seems to like to spit in every model and more times than not goes unoticed until it's wayyy to late. Thermostats like to go, later thermostats are proving to solve the problems.
Check the radiators for any leak, cars run hot, you need them all working 100% and mclarens as annoying they are about everything with chimes and jingles, engine and gearbox fluids temps somehow are not important. Plenty of upgrades and options on rads, not crazy priced.
Another awesome thing with mclarens is that they are what Porsches from the aircooled era were, interchangeable, if the 675lt ever gets slow, just get the updated parts from the lastest greatest engine. Needs and engine rebuild? Rebuild with the 765lt internals. Needs more top end? Senna or speedtail turbos. Needs a new fuel system? 765lt double pump setup. Or keep standard your choice, but owners will always have it.

Having driven the Perf and 675LT, I'd say the 675LT is the far better drivers' choice. And also the long term keeper.

Congrats OP. Good choice. The 675LT is a deeply satisfying car on the right road.
