DeTomaso Pantera - A supercar of its era? Photos
Discussion
ah, found it, I'm also looking into a De Tomaso Pantera, since I only drive so little, I hate to pay road tax for it :-)
so a classic old supercar could be it, saw some nice cars, not a fan of big wings and a lot are taking those down i saw.
I like the GT5 or Groep 4 styling a lot, also came across one with a Ford GT nose and rear... 600 or so hp, and looked really cool.

Is the later Pantera a Gandini update? I ask because it has that funny little spoiler under the windscreen, like the Shamal.
Was just sharing a Covid-19 compliant cuppa over at Gavin’s whilst admiring the Si. The windscreen spoiler serves no particular purpose although it looks just right. Apparently, this was just a Gandini signature feature shown better below.A few more pictures from the Hampshire Italian car meet last year
There were 19 Gt5s 's built, and about 15Gt5's. Nine Gt5s's remain, and 6 RHD Gt5’s, with the Si 200 the only one in the UK. Of the earlier cars shown all are in the UK

There was a red one for sale in Sweden last year, the first I’ve seen advertised ever I think.
I briefly looked for pantera late last year but quickly ruled it out as a potential purchase because...well there weren't any to buy. Beautiful old school cars that rightly don't change hands often and when they do its very expensive and often behind closed doors
One day....but i doubt it...i can only see their values going one way despite the world economy

Every Sunday my next door neighbor and my friend from a few blocks away, each of us Pantera owners, attend one or more car gatherings. In Los Angeles, on any given Sunday there are several dozen large scale gatherings from which to choose. The one attended today was a weekly gathering called Supercar Sunday which always has a large turnout 500-1000 cars with its usual collection of a couple of hundred Porsches, McLarens, Corvettes, Lambos and Ferraris . But usually , me and my friends are the only Panteras even though Southern California is home to many hundreds of Panteras. Next Sunday is "Panteras in the Park" event, and I'll take many pictures and post them after next Sunday. Below is a picture of mine at a Classic Car Show a little while back. Stay tuned...
good idea and what a lovely Pantera.
also nice to have so many car gatherings in the neighborhood, would like to see more around here.
and yea, I've read somewhere many Pantera's went over there, America alone 5.000+ I believe over the years.
but... many have been sold and shipped to this side of the Globe, many US cars are in Europa or further away, a lot have been restored or were already done in Amerika and then brought here, some are Restomods and when nicely done I like that.
here some example which is in Finland for sale, I like such interior, also the engine bay looks great.

Saw these at a classic car dealer this week.

I once owned the blue rhd Pantera , looks so much better now than when i sold it,had only 26,000 miles on the clock,
Remember i couldn't sell it so took a rather nice 911SC Sport in p/ex, car was in need of a repaint at the time.
Looking at todays asking price for this car it's another one i should have kept
