Anybody else bidding on the 550/anybody know anything about the car?
If you mean the Le Mans Blue over Cuoio on CC it's already passed what I'd be comfortable at. It's a Japanese import with incomplete history and is now at a price that would suggest it's being repatriated to a LHD country,
Interestingly there were three LHD Maranellos at the Historics sale today none of which made reserve (one 550, two 575's), all high bids we're lower than the current bid on the CC car. Bar the manual 575m which I was told got bid up to £100k and still remained unsold. I feel £100K is a pretty fair bid today and the seller may regret not letting it go for that.
Sellers need to realign their expectations on Maranello's which had already slipped before CV-19.

I agree history does not look great and it will need a big service straight after purchase.
I have not decided until what level I am comfortable, but I suspect it will be (i) possibly lower than the reserve and (ii) lower than other people are willing to go given I need to factor in the service and lack of warranty. I do love the color combination and fact that it has no shields though, so might stretch a little

It sounds like we're both looking for the same car.I agree history does not look great and it will need a big service straight after purchase.

I also like this colour combo, also prefer no sheilds.
I even prefer the standard seats over daytona's.
My preference is any green, any blue, interesting dark reds or grigio titanio, I prefer a light/contrasting interior.

Feels to me like people are getting greedy...my observations are from looking at cars that I am interested in is that cars aren’t shifting and dealers are generally not being greedy with asking prices when they list cars for first time i.e. they don’t have a lot of confidence and want to get deals done.

The way I am thinking about cars right now is there’s say a 30% chance we have a massive correction and 70% chance the status quo is maintained, There are quite a lot of cars around that aren’t advertised.

We are about to enter the worst recession and more likely depression the world has ever seen.
The fundamentals are appalling.
The furlough has failed. The taxpayer has just Spent money to delay the inevitable. Complete waste of money.
I hope all those buying these cars are doing so with well earned cash because the job losses are going to be monumental.

Mine & many companies got thru the lockdown with the help of Furlough.
Everyone is now back at work & we've no intention of laying anyone off.
You sound like a right laugh!!

The 812 Superfast is a bit low on options isn’t it? And not sure that colour interior does it any favours but it’s getting strong money.
Unsold at £220k + £6k buyer's premium. But as the cheapest retail cars seem to be around £250k perhaps it's not not surprising that the seller wouldn't let it go at £220k.It'd be interesting to know what those cars being advertised at £250k plus are actually selling for.

I think the seller is being unrealistic if he thinks that he can get more for it with that colour scheme. The blue Tom Hartley car at £239k has been up for ages and is a great spec - there must be ample room for negotiation thereIt'd be interesting to know what those cars being advertised at £250k plus are actually selling for.
