It ended at £208K+£6K fees = £214K which is a good price for an average spec Oct 18 Reg 812. It has only 10mths warranty left and missed its first service. I think the seller will be pretty satisfied despite losing £118K in just over two years, Having missed a service, i doubt very much it would qualify for Ferrari Official used car programme which is extremely strict with regards history.
Yes - it’s this finer detail that people may not pick up on. Just like that grey track McLaren 12C last week which hadn’t seen a main dealer service centre for 3 years, but the vendor claims you could put a McLaren warranty on it....yeah right Pro Bono said:
Just out of interest I messaged TF a couple of evenings ago, and asked them if zippy was buying for them. They didn't deny it, but asked for my phone number, so we could discuss it. I said I didn't want a discussion, just an answer, and they then asked for my email address so they could email me their reply.
I gave them an email address, but nothing arrived. A couple of reminders were ignored.
Of course there's no reason why they should even have responded at all to my impertinent question, but the way they did convinces me that zippy and TF are indeed one and the same.
Why is it such a source of fascination? Trade buyers buy from auctions up and down the country way more than private buyers. I really don't understand why its got peoples knickers in a twist? There will be more than zippy bidding although he does look very active on there. There is no doubt that it is Targa Florio but why is it even worth posting about? I gave them an email address, but nothing arrived. A couple of reminders were ignored.

Good plan. Hopefully it gets rid of the horrid little watch 'stealers' that exist.

Harris is simply copying the numerous bloggers he regularly derides and jumping on the luxury/collectible, make a buck band wagon.
Probably realises he won’t be on TG for too long.
To be honest not a fan and haven’t watched TG for a decade.
Occasionally watch Demuro as same height as me, Catchpole, Bovingdion and Metcalfe, although he’s started bumming up Silverstone something rotten.
Don’t get the rest of the garbage and as for influencers! they make me walk on by rather than want to buy .
Watch them tumble.
On the subject of trade buyers/sellers on CC there are plenty, Zippy stands out as curiously only uses the one id.and bids on everything?
Amusingly traders buying from traders and of course the old I’m a trader but this is from my private collection. Yeah right!

I suspect like CC, it'll be the most expensive way of buying and will drive prices further up.
Hmmm not sure CC is the most expensive way of buying is it? Yes the buyer pays the comm but i watch the site most days and apart from a few the all in sale price seems under dealer prices

It's the most expensive way of buying privately, as in with no buyer protection. Yes cars routinely fetch below dealer prices but there is a certain amount of protection offered in that cost.
I wonder how collecting watches will get around shipping? At least with C24 there is the protection of the escrow system.

Yes buying blind too comes into the equation too but i guess you can raise issues on the day of collection. I paid once i'd inspected my car.
The world of watches as we know is full of crooks so they will need to be very aware of what they are getting into
