I go for 285k + fees ending bid for the Pista. Reality is they are not loved as much as the Speciale was and the main diff with the speciale is that there was so much useless options you could spec for the speciale whilst people were encouraged or forced to go to town with the Pista.

The amount of depreciation these guys will face on these is insane. And as usual there were way more made than they led you to believe.. let’s see.

I agree with most comments here the value add is limited. But they had perfect timing with the lockdown with indeed people being home and longing for a dream to be bought. I am for one bought too much car related stuff over the period for sure...
Pista production hasn't finished yet. FWIW they have already made 25% more Pistas than Speciales (worldwide production). I don't yet know what the final number of UK deliveries will be.

The 3 and 2 are next to each other and I type fairly quickly without looking at the screen,

You originally said "220k + fees" but you say you meant "320k including fees"

Not sure how that's a typo but if you say it is, then fair enough...

Congratulations - were you the buyer?

(Though I'm not sure whether the £6k premium is payable on a pre-auction sale).

Not really something someone would lie about and not even worth an argument imo, it happens a lot with the i and u as they’re next to each other on the keyboard check a lot of my posts there’s quite a few mistakes like that, sometimes I spot them and edit sometimes I don’t

Isn't it a 6% premium? So £318k for that Pista. Seems like strong enough money.

Ah OK sorry. I can't help thinking even £306k is strong enough. Certainly not an out and out bargain?

I agree that the prices are actually surprisingly strong. The Silverstone Auction prices yesterday were also, quite staggeringly strong. In fact, they look way stronger than the previous 12 months.

Strange things afoot!
Very strong indeed.

Will be interesting to see how Bonhams do this coming weekend.

I think this could be the death of many of the traditional "venue" auctions - looks like people are happier to bid unseen on-line than they are to actually view the cars and bid in the room.

I think more likely that most people buying online don't normally buy from auctions, but are doing so now for various reasons.
No doubt a mix.

It says selling price so i take it as £300k all in? Otherwise it says winning bid.?

Pre-auction sale. I guess someone contacted CC saying they'll buy it outright. I imagine CC still got a cut one way or another.
