I simply don't get it. You buy a Supercar, then spend your life doing 100 metre sprints in London, choking the poor engines to death (and destroying the clutches in the process).
To be totally factual, it was the old guy doing 100 metre sprints in london..;)

So if they were giving it large on an A road, then you'd say "good on you?" or are you just against these types of cars full stop?
If that's aimed at me, what has my opinion got to do with your baseless bold claim?

Er...because you said "I don't agree" so I'm asking your opinion? Or is that not what happens in forums?

I've given you my opinion. In my opinion more people would think the driver a bell end.

This is basically new money and old money not getting along. The old guy doesn't understand the modern world. If you want peace and tranquility don't live in the middle of one of the busiest and biggest cities in Europe. Running down the road or jumping in front of cars isn't going to solve a lot. Move to the countryside and then complain about litter etc. that's my advice to him. Or if he can persuade anyone to vote for him run for MP again...
I think thats missing the point slightly, these guys aren't respecting others, it doesn't matter where in the world you are having a flash car and a big watch doesn't make you more important than anyone else
I don't think the car is doing much wrong TBH and certainly I agree don't live in a busy city known for supercar showing off if you don't like it.
Bloke could probably sell his house and buy a county up north with the value of London houses.

He doesn't have to.... probably a male "Karen". (on the part of the guy running down the road).
He could have ignored it and 20 seconds later the cars would have gone away anyway. He wasn't sleeping, clearly, it wasn't late. The cars were there for what maybe 20 mins doing photos and some revving etc. - he needs to stop trying to police his street. Or as I said move away where I think he'll be much happier.

Based on this logic I imagine you probably think it was a bit short sighted building Windsor Castle under the Heathrow flight path.

You have tried to do 2+2 and ended up with 47.

My point is this grumpy bloke could have just tolerated a bit of noise for 20 or 30 minutes and they'd have been on their way. Instead, he runs down the road like a Loony at what, 8pm because some cars were revving for a short while.

But now, I suspect many people will go to this street now just to wind the poor bloke up.

The point is he shouldn't have to tolerate anything.

That’s crazy - we all have to tolerate some things even if it’s a pissed up drunk or some idiot driving badly.

You can’t expect to not have to tolerate anything - this world would be a better place if people had more tolerance.

Understand irritation but that’s just lazy racism.
Are you taking the piss, clearly was the tacky supercar photoshoot that raised the comment.

I don’t think that’s right. I don’t live in London out of choice, but the area I do live in there’s a big obsession with people looking after their extensive gardens. So literally every day there’s a lot of noise from leaf blowers, chainsaws, mowers etc. We have to tolerate that to live where we live. I don’t start chasing gardeners down the street etc.

Exactly. Generally, people are quite inconsiderate of others - it's something we just have to live with in modern society And although I don't condone it, you can't go around complaining about everything that upsets you in some way.

Well this thread has turned out to be an eye opener for me. Maybe I'm just a bit divorced from what the current reality is as I've been living in the countryside too long and generally avoid the City if at all possible.

I watch the news in the evening with incredulity at the vast hoards flocking to the seaside in the middle of a global pandemic, generally one or two are chosen to be interviewed. The interviewee then expresses their displeasure at the sheer volume of people having arrived and spoiled "their" day out. The irony of this completely lost on them.

This is the same problem with these supercar owners.

I didn't even realise "Karen" was a thing - I've learned that tonight having had a good read through the urban dictionary.

If you all seem to think this is quite acceptable behaviour I'll just leave you all to it to film and argue out over YouTube I guess.
