Probably a purchase on the horizon.

Obvious ones are 991 Turbo or Ferrari California. May be able to stretch to an FF.

Any other ideas or views on the above.

Rear seas more for luggage, odd person, future baby but no immediate kids to transport.

The FF is the only one out of those 3 with 4 proper seats - the Cali and the 911 seats are very cramped. also neither of them are V12's!!! I ran an FF for a while - i regret selling it, it was an awesome car

How about a Maserati GranSport - much cheaper option and while I have not driven one, I think they look and sound great
Otherwise FF - have done c 80k km in mine and love the car every time I drive yet

How big's your maintenance budget? I suspect the costs of a running a 991 turbo vs a FF are slightly different!

The only way to do this IMHO is not to compromise on the supercar / sports car ideal but instead spend £78,500 on the perfect car and £1,500 on a 4 seater banger and keep it on the street for that rare instance when you need it. Why compromise your driving 95% of the time for 5% of your use? This is what I do anyway and have done for many years.

Although there is a stigma on here, I'd go for the California, it's a much better car than many think

You’re right that the Cali is a much better car than many think.
However, the FF is superior to the Cali in every way apart from;

1 the Cali’s folding hard top
2 size

They are a 2-seater, not a 2+2

I think a decent FF is not going to sit with budget and of course the associated running costs.
The Vanquish is a good shout but you probably looking at earlier 6 spd car or higher mile 8spd.
So not really going to get to pick a really good one, more a case of getting one you can afford.
My shout woukd be to look at the DB9, great grand tourer and with a V12 it will still shift along at an indecent pace.
This budget would get you some very very nice cars including the volante soft top.
Pretty robust, bullet proof engine's and very sensible running costs other than fuel but it is a V12.

But apart from arguably the 2 most important differences...

Well, if them’s the ones that matter then buy the Cali. Otherwise, the FF has the Cali beat in every other respect.
