good luck whatever the circumstance - i jsut think the time to ahve done this was november /december..... be hard to find a deal now esp on spiders.... but do as northo suggests adn you never know....

And remember gettign out of any of these cars is an issue unless you have ages to leave it advertised or it is the height of summer..... and usually it is because you ahve seen a new one you really want and you are worried you will lose it OR you really need to get out becuase of a cash issue etc.... that is when you see people hitting silly bids at dealers and dealers just putting same car back on their forecourt for 5-9k over what they paid.....

I think it is always best to sell the spiders in the height of summer if you want best money - you watch how the mkt dries up when the sun comes out....i remember in 2002 when i started looking there was only 1 in the spec i wanted all summer !!!

Above all else GOOD LUCK and hope you get what you are looking for

If you play the low-ball offer game, you have a couple disadvantages that play into the seller's hands.

1)you have to be prepared to wait, perhaps a long time
2)the more cars you see, the more you realise the good ones from the bad ones... and eventually will see an opportunity you just dont want to miss.
3)you are competing with the trade - trade are not as fussy and hassle free for the seller.
3)the seller can just sit back a wait for someone who meet criteria 2)

Im certainly sitting here looking at my offers thinking.... hummmm, I think Ill just wait a few months if necessary, no harm in playing the waiting game at all.
