Got the Donkey back this afternoon minus cats but with Tubi box and airfilters changed.............Unbelievable why did I wait so long? just on my way home in the dark and an Impreza pulled up next to me at the lights, so I thought here we go! and he wound down the window and said "after you, I love watching those flames!"...........it even makes people curtious!

I have exactly the same setup with my 348tb: Tubi exhaust, Tubi test pipes and K&N air filters. Why don´t I have flames as well?
Can anybody explain?
Perhaps it´s even better not to have them since police here in Germany is not so tolerant when seeing it.

P.S. Have forgotten to mention that I really love the change as well! Gives quite a boost in power output...

God that sounds excellent Charlie- this is the 'full Luigi' is it not. How loud is it in comparison to the Tubi only, and how does the tone compare with your 355? Can well understand your reaction- it really IS like having a new car. Have fun!

Can't comment on Tubi only as I have never experienced it alone I went for the whole lot in one go. To be honest when I first turned up at the dealership this afternoon and they started the car in the workshop for me I was a little disappointed, it sounded Griff/Chimp V8ish even with a blip of the throttle (which, don't get me wrong is a great noise but not what I was after!!) but having put a few miles on the clock at revs it's awesome, actually quite like the 355 in pitch but louder, plus it pops and crackles on the over run, something which I missed quite a lot going from Cerbera to 355, so in my mind best of both worlds (the full F1 noise) can't get enough of it, just been out to post some work mail......20 miles away!!

Charlie,

Keep on putting more miles on the car! You will notice that the sound even gets better since the Tubi exhaust tone needs some time to settle. If you notice an annoying bassy sound when the engine just idles: This will soon vanish and the tone even gets more F1 like!!!

FLAMES

This set up must sound and look the business
I take it the flames don't burn the bodywork then?

Kev:
Sounds like the 360's are getting closer and closer to the 355 experience....... Still no regrets?

How is the new business venture going anyway? Hope all is well.

Regards,
Jay.

Hi Jay- good to see you around again. I do miss the 360 whenever I see or hear one- didn't actually *want* to sell it at the time, but it was the right thing to do. I'll know in the next couple of weeks which direction the business is going. It's taken longer than anticipated with the stock market in the tank, and Iraq looming- makes people sit tight. Pretty good buyers market for used exotica @ the mo', so may just say "fcuk it" and jump in again!

Awesome, isn't it!
What really strikes me is that despite the incredible volume level there is no resonance to speak of, and with the windows up you can also carry a conversation without having to shout.I suppose you could also listen to the radio, but I haven't personal experience with that: mine has never been switched on...

Luigi,

I don´t even have a radio in the car! If you own a Ferrari you simply don´t need one since the engine is already providing you with the right sound...
