Was looking at some F355 for sale and noticed that some are Challenge specs. Does anyone know what this model lacks/has extra?

Also, Bertie, when you had your 355 did you renew the Formula warranty and if yes, how much did it cost?

If it says "challenge grill" that's just a mesh rear grill as per the F1 cars.
If its a chalenge car then thats an ex race car from the Ferrari Chalenge - best avoided I think!

No I didn't renew the warranty, but your dealer should be able to answer all these questions.

Like all of these schemes they use the AA or RAC...I think it's the AA.

Bertie,

first off, thanks for taking the time to reply to questions...

Secondly, my friend who used to have a 355 spider says that he found he couldn't use it everyday due to rain??? He reckons if used in rain then it would cause malfunction?? Does that make any sense to you or is he completely lost? Does that mean you can't keep the car on the drive in case it rains? Also, whats the point of the window wipers then??

Regards

I recently bought an F355 Spyder. Got it from Graypaul in Loughborough. Great dealership. Very helpful and informative. Seeing as I haven't had it long (about a mth now) I can't really comment on reliability although I haven't had any problems so far. I do have the Formula warranty on the car and the option to extend is approx £1500. Not sure wether I will take it, but if I understood correctly, as long as the car is under warranty you can extend at anytime during the year anyway. I have also been out a couple of times in the rain and I haven't had any malfunctions or leaks.

As I've said, mine was used every day for 3 years in all weathers including rain very often and snow!
I never had any problems, use them, that's what they're for!
