Sorry for the cross post but this "on Topic" post is not getting much attention in General Gassing, so hopefully a post in a slightly more specific forum may yield better results.
My Brother's just got back from what sounds like a fantastic day driving in Oxforshire with Vision Motorsport - he got to drive (read "go - on screw it!") a Caterham 7, sat next to a rally driver on a rally course, then drove a 308, 348 and a 355 - all had the speedo's disabled so to the question....
In the the 355 (Challange) he got it up to 6,500 rpm in 6th, so how fast was he going?
He's really keen to find out so any help much appreciated !
