I was planning on dropping by for a look around. If its as good as the Porsche day I was at a month or so ago there then it should be great fun.

On the Porker day they opened up test hill, I hope they do that again!!

Just got back also.

Highlights were seeing a Lamborghini Murcielago in the flesh, next to a 360 Spyder, then about 4 or 5 Countachs and Diablos. Awesome!

Was it a Ferrari 275Gtb that was parked just outside where the Lambos were???? No-one around me could verify what it was. By gorgeous though!

As we were driving out the Murcielago drove out in front so we followed the car all the way to the M25. I've got that on film. Hopefully be able to upload all my film to my website once ive got my laptop coming next week (56k at home... broadband at a mates house).

Sadly no 250s, no Enzo, no Gallardo.... Won't be missing Goodwood next year!!!

Cheers. Rico

Oh yeh. Another highlight was the guy with the Blue 360 Spyder which wouldn't start.

Felt sorry for the poor chap. Just wasn't firing.

Just my luck tohave to go to New York - when this
is on just around the corner..

SB1 - was it your GT3 which I saw broken down on
the back of an AA van on Saturday - I gave the
guy a wave from my taxi. He gave the the 'oh well'
shrug of the shoulders.. even Porches brake down..!

Dropped in here with a couple of mates on the Maserati display. Two of the three lovely Ghibli Cups.

A great day. They did open the hill and it had some interesting traffic up it. Some boy racers in the Cinqs and Siecentos (?sp). A lovely Hawk Stratos replica that sounded as though it was running the proper V6 in the back An X1/9 that some nutter had dropped something turbocharged in, screamed off up the hill with wastegate chattering, and then the most special of all was an old Fiat 600. No not just any old Fiat 600, one that has the little 600cc engine removed and a 2 litre VW flat four in running nitrous. Reputed to kick out about 200bhp. Amazing car fast and very very very loud indeeed - just brilliant. Unfortunately in the morning hill session nobody took an integrale up there. The Murci changed my opinion totally, awsome beast. Also a lovely Alfa SZ which looked completely mint.

Unfortunately no F40, F50, 288 GTO etc but overall a good show and friendly atmosphere.

Chris

P.S. Pride dented when I turned up in the Elise and collected my tickets from the nice young lady on the gate only to have someone who I took to be her mother say "do come back in two weeks time as I want a ride!" Steady on love I thought, then it turned out a "Dream Rides" event is on in two weeks where you can rent out your passenger seat for charity :wipescoldsweatfrombrowsmiley: Off the hook then
